I saw on Yahoo! tonight that Benjie Molina hit a home run but didn't score. A function of bloody instant replay.
Seems he hit a roof, sending the ball back. The ball coming back into the field held him to a single. While the umps went to replay, some idiot went in to pinch run. When the umps overturned the call and ruled home run, the pinch runner scored. Dumb@$$ Bochy tried to put Molina back in, but was rebuffed by the umps. Bochy then chose to play the remainder of the game under protest. Early indications are that the protest will be denied.
They're either going to have to change the substitution rule or get rid of replay. Otherwise, we're going to see more cr@p like this. Give me a break. Dump replay and dump the bloody DH. I'm sick of artificial rules in baseball.
