Just How Special are Hauck’s Special Teams

I feel like this is hands down the best set of special teams from top to bottom I’ve ever seen I know Hauck is a ST guru and it’s showing on levels that are quite incredible. Think about this:

- Macias has made 17 FG in a row
- #1 punter in all of FCS
- #1 net punting in all of FCS
- 2 kick returns for TDs by Flowers
- 2 blocked punts for TDs
- a blocked fake FG for a TD
- a blocked FG to secure the SUU win
- Multiple ST players making all conference team
- an All American long snapper in the OD

Have we ever seen anything like this!

Pretty fucking special.

That’s why I laughed out loud when I read a post on here several weeks ago by some jag off about how shitty our special teams were and how they were costing us games.

What else amazes me is that some coaches put very little effort into special teams, it's an afterthought for them. How many plays per game are your STs on the field, how many opportunities missed by other coaches? Mind boggling.

Game changing. How many possessions in the last two games have we started in MSU or EWU territory?

And then turned around and bitched about “lack of yards” from the offense.

Drives of 5, 8, 13 and 27 yards yesterday produced 24 points. 53 yards. 24 points. EWU? 608 yards, 41 points.

The ultimate irony.

Ha no kidding! Hard to rack up the yards when you only need 8 of them.
