I totally get it that nobody can predict which recruits from this class will make the most impact in their Griz careers. But it is still fun trying, eh?
Here is a list of my top 5 recruits from this class:
Makena Simis - best QB in Idaho this season. I heard that some FBS teams tried to get him interested following his great senior season, but he held to his early commitment to Montana, which we should all respect and be thankful for. I predict he will become a starter at QB in the future, and a very good one at that.
Tucker Schye - the best high school player in the state last season
Conor Straham - his UN-stoppable motor will make him a first team all-conference player, and will make the FBS programs who passed on him regretful.
Travon Van - should become an All-Big Sky running back, and dominate this season.
Kendrick Van Ackeren - our starting strong safety this year, punishing receivers with regularity
