Just 4 FUN!!!

So just like about everyone else on here, I have spent the last 48 hours trying to understand why our fricking coaches insist on re-inventing the game of football rather than trying to win the game the way the GRIZ have always won--- by playing smarter, harder and more disciplined football than everyone else. Hell, I yelled at the TV so loud after the fake punt it has taken two days for my dogs to reappear. Now that I have settled down a little bit, however, I have started to ask myself, “why is it that I get so pissed off when the Griz lose or do something stupid?” Although the easiest answer is the fact that I am a passionate Griz fan (and have been so since graduating there in 1982), the more difficult answer is the fact that I have my own character defects. And as a GRIZ FAN, one of my character defects is having expectations; expecting that the GRIZ should always win, or always play their best, or that they should always outplay the other team. Unfortunately, my expectations can interfere with the joy I experience in watching the Grizzly games because I can become so focused on the result or outcome rather than just participating in the event. Something I certainly need to look at
So for fun, and maybe help you survive until this Saturday, please share a character defect that you possess that is directly tied to GRIZZLY FOOTBALL and make fun of yourself in the process! NEXT!

I've broken expensive things while watching the Griz on TV such as a laptop and a few valuable portraits. Huge character flaw and one I've worked to stop doing. Funny, as the Griz have gotten worse, I've broke less. Maybe I saw this coming subconsciously.

first sign of a bandwagon fan, less breakage of expensive things during tough times....next time the Griz lose, I will be a bandwagon fan because I bitch about the horrid coaching, but I will regain true fandom by killing our bulldog....

I get drunk and stay up until midnight posting stupid barely coherent things on egriz.

Same here. Last Saturday night/Sunday morning I stayed up drinking and working on a wood flooring project until 4:30 am. I finshed every drop of bourbon in the house and damn near made it through the beer all while using a mitre saw throughout the night. I started drinking an hour before the game too. If the losing continues I'm going to end up looking like a shop teacher.

Lefty

My defect is I laugh at those fans who think it's life and death and they know better than the administration/AD/head coach/OC/DC/ST Coach/RB coach/WR coach/QB/RB/TE/WR/OL/DL/LB/CB/waterboy as to what would be best for the team.

Unless you have some really deep pockets, stub, I'd think again about offing your bulldog!

The last time I checked the pet section of the Missoulian, someone was selling bulldog pups for $1800 per...

lol, good post.

The only reason for so many fucked up defected Griz fans is all the unparalleled success of the last quarter century.

Thanks for messing us up Griz!
