Junior on Walter Payton watchlist

Cool. Well then UNM should dominate both lines and crush the Cats with all that size. I know you've already stated you assume UNM will win. We'll see how she goes.
Yes, I think the Cats will lose. I have said nothing about the o-lines, just compared sizes. I have no idea what the UNM o-line will be like. You Cat posters are so defensive that you go crazy when o-line weights are posted. Pretty funny.

How did any of your predictions turn out last season? Weren't you wrong on everything of note?

The new UNM coach was the head coach at Virginia and BYU. He must know how to coach. I know you think Vigen is all-world, but he's not. Not even close.

This is out of hand. Any reliable media person will tell you MSU has a top 3 o-line, the other 2 are the Dakotas. Wehr will be drafted and Connor Moore could get drafted when he graduates. Wehr is probably around 315 right now and the rest of the line is 290-320… we also have freshman and sophomores who are 310+

He won two games his first year at Virginia… UNM and Nevada are the two worst teams in MWC and Nevada lost 33-6 to Idaho. Please remind me the scores of the last 3 Big Sky vs MWC games… Big Sky blew all of them out.

Does every freaking thread have to devolve into an argument about the Cats? MOST OF US DON'T CARE SO PLEASE JUST SHUT UP.
I think it’s because this is the first time in a very long time both teams are extremely good and have chances at playing in Frisco. Now it’s just a banter because all fans have massive expectations

"Bronco Mendenhall has yet to coach at game at New Mexico, but he is nonetheless considered one of the best coaches at the Group of Five level. At least according to The Athletic's Chris Vannini, who yearly ranks the best college football coaches who who lead non-Power Four programs. Mar 8, 2024"

The coach took BYU to a bowl game in 10 of his 11 years, I believe. He did fairly well at BYU. At Virginia, not as well, but after that first year, he took him teach to the Peach Bowl the next season and won 3, games 1st, 3d and 3d in ACC in 3 of last 4 years.

"He has a career record of 135 victories and 81 losses and has recorded fourteen postseason bowl game appearances with seven victories."

"More than 60 of Mendenhall's players have been signed to NFL contracts since 2005, including Ezekiel Ansah, the #5 overall pick in the 2013 NFL Draft."

I could see him bringing eventual success but I think the first game of the year will show the lack of chemistry as he brought in lots of transfers. I could be wrong but I’ll take a MSU team with 23 seniors and tons of chemistry.

I'll take the view of Vannini over your view.

I’m not saying be is a bad coach. He will have a hard time winning over 2/3 games this year.

Nope. Wrong. Neither will be drafted, and they are average players who will be run through by Dlines all season. Deal with it.

MSU will lose by three scores because they suck and don't have a QB.

No. It's because you and your cohorts spend all your time on our board and feel the need to constantly bang your drum about how good your team is, in threads that have nothing to do with you. How many Griz fans post constantly on bobcat nation? How many are allowed to completely disrupt threads over and over? The answer is somewhere between zero and almost none. Yet here y'all are, constantly annoying the crap out of most of us. I wish that certain posters would quit participating in it but apparently they can't help themselves any more than y'all can.

No links to support your garbage?
Probably just making shit up again, like always

The Cat 2024 roster from website lists 1 player over 300. Wehr is listed at 292.

They haven’t updated weight… the guys who were 290+ (there were 6) definitely put some weight on in the off season. Wehr put on tons of size and bobcat insiders have said he is around 315.

A colts forum with OL draft predictions has Wehr and Aigbedion (transfer to Baylor). Wehr is predicted round 1-3 and Aigbedion is 2-3 but is only a junior. Rush Reimer (transfer to Cal) is predicted to go UDFA.

Another website has Wehr ranked 40th for OG.

Predicted 4th round on another recruiting website

Nope. All reports say they have all lost 15+ lbs.

This. He's a good coach. But, when he took over at Virginia - that mighty FBS program lost to... FCS Richmond in their debut.

Well then do yourself a favor and put a bunch of money on that game. If you're right, and UNM upsets the Cats being 7.5 underdogs - I think that would pay out quite well.
