Josh Labrador, seriously

Anyone know what happened to him. Did he leave because he didn't think he'd get to play? Unfortunate, I was really looking forward to seeing him play. Liked his speed and athleticism.

It was a combination of many things, a lot outside football as well," Labrador said. "I just wasn't sure if football was taking me where I wanted to be in life anymore. That made it hard for my heart to be all the way in and football is far too strenuous to be doing that. I spent a lot of time talking to my parents, family and friends and it came down to this being what felt right for me."

Labrador will be moving home to Idaho this weekend and will try to get into a college closer to home for next semester.

He said that he told running backs coach Justin Green his final decision to leave the program on Thursday.

"He was very respectful about it," Labrador said. "He wants the best in life for his guys in football and out."
