This kid has tons of potential. After a trial by fire season last year, and what was reported to be some personal issues this season, it's time for a breakout game from #14 in the biggest game of the year. We need a couple role players to really step up tomorrow and I'm hoping Dennard leads the way.

I'd be ok with that.

The whole secondary better be ready to take it up a notch tomorrow, they're going to be tested a bunch.

Yes, but they've gotta get help from up front, too. It's time for that front seven to prove they're the best in the business by regularly planting Adams on his ass.

I know. What happened to our sack leading D-line from last year? Same guys but bigger stinger and smarter right? GET SOME!

Good points, I'd like to see someone besides Wagenmann putting some big hits on Adams tomorrow.

Well, you got part of your wish; Wagenmann didn't put any big hits on Adams. Our DE's were quite silent.

check the film....our db's and safties back up as soon as the ball is hiked....wonder if that is coaching or if the player is making that decision.......beau knew that so he had adams throwing on first down for 6-9 yds every time. they rarely were in the hole on first or second downs. smart coaching and brilliant player discipline.
you know it is hard to count on those players that just go out there and do their own thing...must piss off the coaches not getting them to play their style of football.

They were rarely in the hole...but when they were, it seemed like adams threw a TD pass...

i hear you.....that pass to archer over kanangota was superb. i think he throws so his receivers run to the ball rather than at them...with the exception of being in the red zone

Everyone is talking about the bomb over JPK but the real back breaker was the 639 consecutive completions on that 5-10 yard in pattern they ran between Tripp and Dennard. It was there all day and we never adjusted schematically. (coughGregoraksuckcough)

It wasn't just Tripp and Dennard but you absolutely correct about schemes...why do we not go with a nickel db package against 4 WRs is mystifying. Has been all year...love JP, monster against the run, in space vs a slot receiver not so much.

Ya you're right, I didn't mean to just pick on those two players Mr. G it's more scheme than anything. Tripp was doing everything he could to jump that route while staying home on his assignment. Dennard was playing off, leaving a hole in coverage that Gregorak never adjusted to. It was very frustrating to watch. Again with JP that wasn't his lack of ability to cover. He is a downhill, sound tackling linebacker. Not a guy who can or should be covering slot WRs 50 yards down field. Chalk that up to poor playcalling as well. We also dodged a bullet when their TE split wide with Tripp playing basically bump n' run like a CB. They took a shot deep and the TE had a step on Tripp but was just barely overthrown. /end rant
