Truer words could never be spoken. Totally agree. Even the TV commercials are now created to be 100% politically-correct. I challenge you to watch the next 10 national-type TV commercials, and count the number out of 10 that have at least one black actor in the spot. I guarantee you it will be 8 out of 10, maybe even 9. Yet blacks make up 15% of our population. We pander to minorities in this country today. And most of you fall right in line like lemmings, because you would never want anyone to think you were racist, Heaven forbid!!!

Great bill-board in Texas: "You voted for Obama the first time to prove you were not a racist.....now vote for the other guy this time to prove you are not an idiot!"
How racist of you to count such things. As a progressive, I've never noticed.

The only thing you dudes notice is the date when your next entitlement check arrives
Actually, I think I am entitled to it. I did 22 years in the Air Force and signed a contract. So, I pretty much earned it, don't you think?

I figured you were Air Force.

Uhhhh....? Michael Vick is one of the least accurate QBs in the NFL. His career completion percentage is 56%. He is one of the lower rated QBs (in completion %) among the starters currently playing.

You are forgetting 2 very important details about Vick.

1. The knee jerk reaction to Vick have a few good games with the Eagles is how most sports fans judge talent they look at 1 or 2 games and not the entire body of work. That is how most Griz fans are in their assessment of talent, just look at the way these guys salivate at the Kemp vs Northern Colorado game last year. GK has a decent game against one of the worst teams in the conference and these lemmings go nuts over it.

2. The left wing media NEEDS to create a great black QB, they have to have the headlines and since they cant get them legitimately they create news and opinion. They did it with McNabb and they are doing it now with Vick. Neither of these guys are in the elite QB club but you would never know it looking at ESPN, NBC and other media outlets. The same way they (NBC) created the Trayvon Martin story by lying, editing and miss reporting facts, they drum up public support because everyone is afraid to be called racist. So the media plays off that and paints you in the direction they want to lead you.

The funny part about all of this is that the people being the most blatant racists are the news outlets and reporters that feel they have to fabricate news and put black athletes or black news stories on a pedestal because they cant get there themselves.

That is more racist than any comment could ever be. Not to mention the left wing media thinks everybody is stupid and will buy the facade of support while they are really undermining the cause.

If this is racist then the federal government is racist as they have for decades kept track of these stats, if you never noticed you are very naive.

The Feds keep track of how many black people appear in TV commercials? Link, please.

1. Montana is lily-white & we get national commercials. These "national" commercials are for the big markets like NY, Chicago, LA, etc. At about 13% of the 135 million Americans, there are over 17 million Blacks. Now, where are these Blacks concentrated? Yep, in the big markets. Just like most of the other minorities. Minorities would not be appearing in TV commercials if the advertisers didn't think they could make money off this. You, Growler, should know that more than anyone else, the master entrepreneur that you are.

2. So, what branch of the military did you serve in, Growler?

Yeah Dill, tell him about the lies you told when you were masquerading under a different name. You know, that Viet Nam Bullshit story you told me. Your problem Dill, is your memory isn't good enough to remember all the shit you make up, and you get caught, time after time. :loser:

More like 312M Americans, over 40M A-Americans. Good post.

I keep hoping that this thread will actually be an update to the original question based on the outcome of the hearing that was held last week. But that may be too much to hope for.

Dude. What in the history of Egriz convinces you that there'd be an update to the original topic!? :thumb:

Well I'll offer an opinion. (It may or may NOT be my opinion) No way in gods green earth would I want to be on that committee. Considering everybody (for the most part) on the committee's ass is on the line in this whole mess, can they render a "fair decision"? If they do nothing and real charges come down, they have another mess on their hands, If they do something and no charges come then they took pre-emptive action (not good either.)

The best perhaps for all is if he left school on his own and no decision need be made. Of course that won't happen. (nor should it)

We should hear an outcome within 3 weeks. Personally, I believe the outcome is on his side, based on the few I have heard from. As to if that will be he case, or not, I cannot 100% say for sure. IF (a huge BIG if) he leaves it will be for a new start, which makes sense. This has to be difficult for any guy to deal with, even if not true. It has to be magnified when you happen to be the starting QB for a program with a strong tradition, in a small community.

Either way, I am praying, and hoping the best for JJ.

I don't understand that mentality of people on this board. He put himself in a position where he is bringing bad publicity to your programs. At the very least, he should be suspended from team acitivities until the legal situation is resolved, at which time the AD and admin can determine if re-instatement is warranted and in the best interest of the programs.

If he were a marginal player, and not the starting QB, everyone would agree that his leaving would be in the best interest of the program, with the negative publicity this is generating. I can't believe that people think be should remain on the activie roster. If he would later be convicted, are you going to fire another coach and AD? Gee wiz, your program needs to have standards, doesn't it?

It does not matter in the least bit if he is guilty or not guilty at this point, but he should not be on the active roster if there are any standards of behavior in place.
