Jordan Taylor 6-foot-1 Benilde-St. Margaret Minn.

I have heard that the Griz have offered 6-1 point Guard Jordan Taylor of Benilde-St. Margaret in Minnisota. He has offers from Montana, Wisconsin-Green Bay and Northern Iowa and interest from Iowa State, Penn State, Notre Dame a little bit and Minnesota. Taylor will be a junior this year, so he is being recruited for next year's (2008) class.

Taylor also plays with 6-6 Armond Battle an small forward who I hear the Griz are also looking at, but I do not know how seriously.

We've offered a ton dudes in Minnesota, do we have a big-time connection over there or something?

We should have alot of midwest connections with Martin, Rundles, Selvigs being in eastern mt, Qvale family in ND, and Larry K's wife from WI. I am sure all the players playing AAU/travel ball allows for them talking alot. I would not be too surprised if the combination of these families have given us some great ties.

Now that Coach K is in Wisconsin, how much effort do you think he will put into recruiting quality players in the region to Montana? I know that he will be extremely busy with the Bucks, but it is hard for me to believe that he wouldn't take time to put in a good word about Montana to players, and help us out.
