Joe Moglia

Well-known member
Coastal Carolina leading Richmond 29-8 in front of an empty home stadium. Come to Montana Joe...we are the crown jewel of the FCS!

Saw him interviewed on CNBC yesterday. They asked him about the markets (because of his former role as chairman of TD Ameritrade). But also asked him abut how his business experience prepared him to coach, and vice versa. (He said a lot.)

The CNBC folks said Moglia has been mentioned as a possible coach for the Jets, and he didn't really respond to that except to say he was just focusing on the FCS playoffs. He did say his future is in coaching, not going back into business.

Joe Moglia would be my number 1 choice for Griz coach, but I suspect he will have higher paying, more prestigious FBS job offers (although not as nice a place to live as Missoula). Too bad.

Kent Haslam, at least give Joe a call, and make him an offer You never know.

He was on Nebraska's top 10 list. I know a few Husker fans who really wanted this guy. Then again, they are one of the few Husker fans who follow FCS football as much as BCS.

U of South Carolina will be looking before long...they are an unhappy bunch right now. I'd take Columbia over Missoula...but not in summer.

Lol....big money job does not mean much to Joe.
USC is THE prestige job in the Palmetto State. Taking that program to the top of the SEC is a bigger chanllenge than UM returning to the top of the Big Sky. I can easily seem him recruiting Orangeburg area and that is hot spot down there...Columbia is a great place.
