Joe Flacco's MNF performance

Being a lifelong Griz fan, and thus a fan of 1-AA - I enjoy rooting for all (almost) players from our division that make it to the NFL. Last night Flacco played a pretty darn good game for the Ravens, and really should have won against a good Steelers defense.

What disgusted me was listening to freaking Tony Kornholer constantly belittle Flacco because he came from Delaware. Jaws did a good job of saying, I don't care where he played college, the kid can throw and is a solid qb.

Kornholer has no business being in the booth, especially for MNF. He is a total waste of oxygen. Is that the best ESPN can do?

As ABC tried to do with Dennis Miller, ESPN is trying to re-create Howard Cosell. The problem is that Cosell had prior experience with other sports, and these guys really don't, even given Kornheiser's big-mouth cr@p on PTI.

I'm of the opinion that they should give up. There's only one Cosell, and nobody's going to be able to fill his shoes.

As ABC tried to do with Dennis Miller, ESPN is trying to re-create Howard Cosell. The problem is that Cosell had prior experience with other sports, and these guys really don't, even given Kornheiser's big-mouth cr@p on PTI.

I'm of the opinion that they should give up. There's only one Cosell, and nobody's going to be able to fill his shoes.

I would rather have Jim Ross on PxP and Jerry Lawler on color. That would pair a great PxP voice and a really funny color guy. Gifford/Cosell all over again. And they've already done football.

Good god, I can't stand listening to Hundley. Likely because I hate the Jazz. I did, however, like hearing him say over and over, "Horny brings the ball up the court..."
