That’s why Lance won the Payton. He did it all on that drive.

I bet he does not play 4 years for ND State

Unless he leaves early for the draft, he will. When you had a guy go #2 from your own school and be very successful, the narrative is shot for level of competition.

Not what I meant but your probably half way into a case of Pabst at this point

Are you suggesting he leaves early or grad transfers?

If you are suggesting he grad transfers, why do you think he would?

He won the Payton as a Frosh
He is not a QB, He is a RB

Bigger schools will come calling and he will most likely move on

Just my opinion... but I think this is highly likely.

He’s the highest rated passer in the FCS. You get that right?

How would it benefit him (other than Trey Lance getting a grad degree somewhere outside of NDSU)?

Why would he leave? The VA’s of the world left to get noticed. Trust me, Trey Lance is noticed and the NFL already recognizes that QB’s from NDSU can play in the NFL.

I can't believe this putz is over here on our board posting while his team is playing in the Championship. Pretty much the definition of pathetic.

If he wins this game, I could see him entering the transfer portal. Don’t think that Oklahoma won come calling and what more would he have to prove at the FCS level?

You understand that he throws less than 20 times a game to WR's that are mostly wide open don't you?

Passer rating doesn't mean much if you have the ability to run the ball every play.

He reminds me of the QB at Nebraska several years ago that averaged nearly 300 yards passing with 10 completions per game

He has more risk of leaving and hurting his draft stock than staying and raising it.

The world has seen what the ceiling is for an NDSU QB in the NFL draft.....so why wouldn’t he think he could do the same thing?
