JLM

Some parents in stands saying torn muniscus and out for 4 weeks hope that is wrong.

Delaney said that Stitt told him before the game that JLM is just bruised up a bit. That if this were a though conference opponent he would still play. Jsut trying to make sure he stays healthy for later games.

I heard he was being sat out so that Strong's suspension wouldn't count against our reduction in scholarships in 2022.

Went to the Griz walk and saw him limping and got a little worried.

Should have played him a bit less. I mean seriously, school record receptions in his third game...as a redshirt freshman??

Coach was like a little kid with a new Tonka toy. Just couldn't leave it alone. Now you need to actually have him sit out games in order to have him back at, ostensibly, 100%. Maybe use him a little more sparingly. Sheesh, we're gonna be needin the guy... :twocents:

Hope so but don't think we will see him against sac, maybe at NAU.

Oh FFS. Football is a rough game, but you still get your best players the ball as much as you can. I think he'll be just fine.

I suppose you think pitchers should throw more than 5 innings too?

CFalls, I rarely disagree with you, but when I do; I do it wholeheartedly. Dude, you get the ball in your playmaker's hands, plain and simple.

Thanks for the news flash. Most guys dress out for their fourth game if they're a starter. He was over-utilized, period. As I indicated, that's my :twocents: FFS

A couple of students in our section said they are buddies with him said he had arthroscopy surgery on his knee this week and he walked out after the procedure. They said he would probably be out two weeks. Seems to fit with the meniscus talk.

Would it change your opinion if I told you I'd been shooting a pellet gun off my back porch at a racoon (possibly a cat) for the past hour? It doesn't make much noise but it does have laser sights on it. It's rather fun, and from what AWF has told me, illegal within Missoula proper. Which makes it all that much sweeter.

TFS (not thanks for sharing)

Hope not. We can count him out for the season then and no guarantee when he comes back he will be as good. Doesn't seem to match though.
torn Meniscus is usually two weeks complete immobilization for minor tears, if surgery required it is two weeks complete immobilization plus two weeks more of limited mobility and several months before he could begin running on it again. Often times it can take even more time before he would be able to plant and cut like he does, or it may never heal fully.

If he had just had surgery don't think he would be walking on it.

I overheard a couple of doctors in our section who said: "We can rebuild him. We have the technology. We have the capability to make the world's first bionic man. JLM will be that man. Better than he was before. Better...stronger...faster."
