I can't even imagine having a kid wrapped up in this stuff.

This is the most poignant testimony of the trial.

The Kaimin, which has done a notably better job than the Missoulian throughout, notes that several members of the Jury were visibly affected. The Missoulian apparently didn't notice.

Mr. Johnson's testimony, taken with that of his son's and all of the son's character witnesses, describe one person.

This now offers a dramatic contrast with the State's witnesses, including Jane Doe's parents, who were so dramatically at odds on key points, and in particular Jane Doe apparently having had a completely different childhood than the one recalled by her parents.

This "shouldn't" have much to do with what the Jury has to do, but it will. This was very strong testimony from a boy's father.
 
Damn, just reading the tweets here in Butte and my eyes were watering after Marty's testimony. As a parent I just can't even imagine...

Not to suggest that Doe's family is not suffering too, but somehow, I just hope the Johnson Family can feel some of the love from out here in Griz Nation.

Agree. As Cats & Griz we can call each other dipshit, douchebag, fucktard, whatever but this is real life. And after this is "over" it won't be for the woman or JJ or those real close to them.

Kobe still gets called a rapist by the haters but he was found not guilty in our judicial system. I hope if JJ does see the field again you Cat fans are nice. ;)

PI seemed like a pointless witness from the twitter feed? Says he talked to the roommates and ex boyfriend but never said what was discussed.

Possibly saving time for closing arguments? Doesn't seem like they'd gain a thing crossing Jordan's dad and the PI's info wasn't much, IMO.

I'm guessing that his testimony that the house had wood floors and was 'echo-ey' implies that a struggle or crying out for help or whatever would be easily heard by the roommates.
 
I have only been partially paying attention to the trial, and had no idea who Jane Doe was, but it took an entire minute to figure it out once I saw that tweet that her former boyfriend __________ was contacted by the PI.

Likelyhood of a verdict before the weekend??
 
Sounds that way EG. Judge to give jury instructions Friday after closing arguments, then they go deliberate. I cant imagine that discussion will take too long...
 
can't wait for the judge's instructions on this one: Also, members of the jury, you will only consider testimony and evidence that points to a guilty verdict...

if a conviction or a innocent maybe Friday....hung jury would be Monday I presume

I agree. This is a little spooky, if you think about it. I have guys I work with that knew her name a week ago, based on this same connection, amongst others on the witness list.

I am really surprised some a-hole hasn’t posted her name on here.
