JJ still enrolled

The most amusing part of this is the fact that some lackey operating in an associate comm. role for higher ed. is taking the time to address whether or not a football player is enrolled in classes.

No. Wonder. Indeed.

If the football team really wants to put an end to this rape thing, the young men on the team need to be given consent forms, that they must have signed by the female and then ok'ed by a notary, before they can engage in any sexual activity, including any group blow jobs :!: :!:

I think there was a funny Chapelle's Show skit on something like this years ago...

Rachac's FB page for C-G insider:

Full disclosure: Information I received and published late Friday pertaining to Jordan Johnson wasn't 100 percent correct. So, I must own up to my erroneous Twitter post, and I'll take the heat. But stay tuned as this story continues to develop

However I don't think this is over.

So stay tuned for more made up BS to keep this story alive as long as possible?
The Missoulian made up a BS story about JJ being expelled and tweeted it without getting a credible source and then writes a story that our QB is still our QB. WTF?
The only reason Engstrom would bother to release the fact JJ is still enrolled and in good standing is to dispell the BS rumors that Rachac started with his tweets. There is absolutely no other reason for the statement.

The Missoulian may have made up the story, I don't know, but Greg Rachac works for the Billings Gazzette.

GottaluvGriz, do you see anywhere in the statement from UM that says the tweet from Rachac is false?
nowhere.....
but any other reason you can think of for the University to make a statement to the fact that JJ is enrolled, on the football roster, and in good standing?
The only reason I can think of is to dispell the rumors and make the phone quit ringing.

I would think because the parties involved are not yet ready to release the information, waiting for everything to be final. The statements does nothing to address the actual rumor.

The thing that makes me wonder is that UM did not rush to negate the story, which speaks louder than what they did say.

Wasn't this "story" released Friday evening before a 3-day holiday weekend?

How often do their statements address tweets?
I certainly would when a story is written about JJ staying on the team when he hadn't ever left. They should have addressed the tweet in the story that started the rumor, otherwise there was not a reason for the article.

Not sure what you mean. The info was tweeted by a few reporters, but I would not say the story was released by anyone. But today UM released a statement and did not deny the story.

I hate to keep stiring this pot but the Billings Gazette headline reads: Griz QB accused of assault still on football roster, enrolled for fall classes

All they did was relabel the Missoulian article. Once again splashing this young man's legal troubles over the internet. Wouldn't a more correct headline read:

Billings Gazette Sports Writer's Overeager Tweet Spreads Misinformation

So the University releases a statement that confirms that JJ never left, is enrolled in the fall, is on the football team and is in good standing so that it can later expel him as Rachac's tweet claims.
Why would they bother to release a statement at all today then?

No, the University released a statement that stated that JJ is currently still a student at UM, he is academically in good standing, and a member of the football team. They did not say the story about his expulsion was incorrect. As to their motive for this statement, I do not know.

I agree and actually brought it up with a friend last week, but I'm not sure this goes far enough. I think that every student should receive a packet upon enrollment with a consent form that the University is an Institution of Higher Education. Part of that education may involve sexual relations or activity with members of the opposite or same sex. In the packet include the consent forms listed above and have a designated notary in every dorm, bar, gym, fraternity/sorority, church, dancehall & casino in the county.

Again, I am not condoning sexual assault, rape, or any other illegal activity. But the only way I see to stop it is to make sure that whatever happens on a late Friday evening, early Saturday morning or any other time is to set by contract.

God!! How has the human race survived this long?!

...pre-enrolled for the fall-semester. Doesn't that say just about the same thing?

Same thing as what?

When Dennis Rodman played for the Bulls he had a security guard who's job it was to get a signed consent form from any women Mr. Rodman was going to have sex with.
