JJ decision

I'm really important. I know people and I know stuff. But that's all I can tell you dumbasses.

Don't believe me then. You don't have to get all cranky. I know your job as a janitor doesn't have extra ethical guidelines so it may be beyond you to fathom such a thing. The question you need to ask is: Why does my knowing something, while you don't, make your penis smaller? Discuss.

I don't question that you know stuff that I don't. Nor do I question you know more people "in the know" than I do. But what drives you to bragg to people who you don't know, and don't know you, that you know more than they do? If you have information to share, then do so. Otherwise your "I know something you don't know" looks like you are posting from a middle school girls locker room.

Just a shot in the dark here but maybe it's because of a small penis? "Crackgina"--heck, even I can put two and two together.

The funny thing though, information or not, I think he is probably correct about this outcome.

I gave information, just limited info. The BOR decision has been made. I can't tell you what it was but if the next steps are legal.....

JJ will be our QB all season long, barring injury.

If they had any goods on him he would be gone by now.

That's about where it has been with me. I think they are dragging it out just to save face. If the other conduct hearing were to follow through with expulsion but no legal charges filed that would be the the final straw at least for this season.

Ugh, I think he'll be gone. Just because it's taking so long doesn't mean anything. This kind of crap usually takes awhile...

I believe crackgina has the information and I respect his decision to refrain from sharing until it is released. Others have jumped the gun on news and had it bight them in the butt.

I am not surprised at all that the BOR have made their decision. I would be SHOCKED if they did not back Engstrom and the CofC hearing results. To do otherwise would be a huge slap in the face to UM administrators and foster very hard feelings. They have to protect the integrity of their administration at all costs. I am not saying that I agree but I certainly get it.

That being said; I would suspect that Paoli has moved on with his next avenue of legal wrangling to fight the BOR ruling and the saga continues. It would be better for the BOR for a judge to slap down the UM administration than for the BOR to do so......even though they may want to.

I really don't see the BOR going against the UM Admin ruling of 7-0 to expell. I would think they would be right in line with them trying to get this embarrassing mess cleaned up for the State of Montana.

Based on the steered Coture decision it's pretty clear why it was voted 7-0 to expel and pass along. Removing exculpatory evidence, removing character witnesses, withholding the defendants ability to interview witnesses, shouting him down in court, forcing his lawyers not to speak. Coture, per title 9 was supposed to be neutral in this, instead he mocked JJ during hearings, made promises of getting him kicked out no matter what the evidence, and as others posted was seen smiling and hugging the individual filing the claim against JJ.

It's clear that Coture and presumably the entire UM will/would stop at nothing to remove JJ even if that pretty much violated JJ's civil rights, violated title 9 rules, and will probably lead to a giant lawsuit against the UM.

The way they stacked the deck, yeah... it's pretty clear why he was voted out by the honor court.

There may be somethings to JJ and his civil rights on the legal court rape side, but there is also the student conduct code as well. When athletes sign their scholarship papers they lose a lof their rights as it pertains to playing football (and other sports teams) if they break rules. So there are 2 tiers in this mess. I've seen high school kids get kicked off of teams for being seen at a party (not by cops or coaches) by classmates and being booted. Once you sign in that sport scholarhips/contract you are held to a higher level and it can be terminated if you violate those rules. I would think possible rape/dragging UM through national headlines would be something UM has in their student conduct rules of what NOT to do.

all I can tell you is that crackgina is exactly 100% correct on this.

The BOR decision has been made, but the only decision that matters now is the one sitting at the desk of The Commissioner of Higher Education, Clay Christian. He has the FINAL say on this matter, even though depending on his decision the final say may be in a courtroom because there is a 100% probablility Dave Paoli will file a suit on behalf of his client immediately.

Thus far wildcat you have picked the side to have JJ done away with. The thing is EVERY athlete faces the same treatment if certain cases evolve. Why would anyone want decisions to made when "the rules "change half way thru the game. cat fans need to quit being so narrow minded as to think that wow The Griz lost they're qb so maybe we can beat them. Thats right I see cat fans viewing this as football and not the fact that peoples lives are at stake. JJ would have to live with an awkward decision for the rest of his life because some school administrator wanted to hang him. Oh and by the way I believe that admin is gone. Its amazing how down right mean and rediculous this has become. Griz/cat rivelry has hit an all time low.............not on the field but off the field. Last point is I was at a birthday party for a 15 year old and a known cat alumni in a very smug tone blurts out "there are nothing but a bunch of thugs at Missoula"................seriously. Gavin Hagfors gave up I believe Harvard to become a Griz(no scholarship). There are many very good kids on this team. So if the decision goes against JJ the precedent has been set. Inuendo gets you kicked off so bring you're halo boys and be sure to attend sunday mass.

The final say will not be in a court room. The most that will come out of a courtroom is a return to the University for a "more fair" hearing assuming the court determines the University broke its own rules.....

There is no gaurantee that there will be a second hearing if the decision to expel is vacated. There may have been enough learned in the intervening period to eliminate the desire to pursue action. Or there could be something of a "plea bargain" with a mediated result that satisfies the parties involved. That said, yet another hearing is also quite possible. My hope is for the middle ground.

Then what you are saying is he MIGHT BE WRONG...

I always love to hear the holier than thou Griz fans whine if someone suggests the team is nothing but a bunch of thugs. While I certainly don't believe that, it seems a little hypocritical to cry foul when for years Griz fans have made the same statements about the Cats despite the fact that with the exception of a few, all the problems that led to the firing of Kramer actually involved former players. Since Ash has taken over there have only been two incidents of an active player running afoul of the law and both were handled immediately without "letting the legal system run its course." So while I agree that it is wrong to label the whole Griz team as thugs because there are many great kids on the team, the old saying "you reap what you sow" comes to mind.

I would hope so too. That will be the only way for either party to get out of it. There is a bigger mess over at the court house.
