something else that has annoyed me in all of this....

if this chick truly is making all this up, and if she consented and all the other stuff we're hearing as a possibility...why would she have admitted so much? why would she have told them things like she took off her shirt or that she said "not tonight" implying that other nights it was fine? seems like if she was going to put herself out there and risk her own well-being, she'd go all out.

again...i'm just thinking out loud. seems like she was very smart in getting sympathy rather than making up an elaborate story about how she was brutally raped. i think her story tends to sound credible when she admits to things like this that clearly will get her blasted pretty good as she already has on this board.

Based on the wide range of opinions and interpretations of what "not tonight" means, that have been expressed on this board, I can only conclude that it will be a hung jury.

Obviously some argue that is means "no" or "stop" and other see it as a conditional "yes" or "maybe later". The jury will be made up of individuals with that same range of opinions and interpretations.

i agree to a point backer. but we have all known some pretty loose women over the years. still doesn't mean they are free to be raped. and i'm not implying that is what you were saying.

i'll go a step farther and say this could help her too. let's say the rumors are true and she is one of the biggest sluts on campus. apparently everyone knows this. the basketball team. the football team. message boards. and likely many others if all these people know. she obviously doesn't care that she is viewed this way. so for her to come out and admit that she agreed to make out, she agreed to take off her shirt, and then she told him to stop...i think she actually gains credibility in this scenario.

I do agree to an extent. It is weird that a girl who supposedly sleeps around would all of a sudden say somebody raped her. Maybe she thought she could win the star QB over and when he hit it and quit it she got pissed. Looking at it from another point of view. Why would JJ, the star QB, a guy that has plenty of girls and guys saying he is a great guy, who has no problem getting action when he wants it, force himself onto a girl. Maybe he was drunk and horny and thought she was an easy lay. And when she said NO he didn't believe her because he heard the stories, or experienced her being all about it earlier.

This is going to be an interesting case for the jury, if it even goes to a jury. If it does go to court I have a feeling JJ went testify. As somebody mentioned earlier, JJ is gone and will never be the QB at the University of Montana again.

In this scenario, If I had some girl over to my place, she was all over me, and I wasn't into it, I would feel victimized if she zipped my pants down and forced me to have sex. Even if everyone else got a piece of me doesn't mean that I'm an all you can eat buffet.

From your other point of view, some people change when they are drunk, some people hide their true self from their friends, family, and themselves. We all wear masks, and many of them. Some of my masks are ugly (e.g., my Egriz mask is not always the best person). In other words, who knows what JJ's preferences are in bed. That sense that you could have every girl because your the star quarterback may have worked against him here.

And again, maybe she has another motive. However, it is kind of hard to figure out how her current behavior has lead to more reward than punishment, for her.
