Because Payton is back and he likes pouring it on, plus he has a hard-on for the league now.
 
I don't really care if some one runs up the score its paid sport after all. It just seems dumb from a potential injury standpoint or a dirty play from the other team as well as a payback down the line.
 
They didn't run up the score, they stuck to running other than tossing for first downs in the last 10 minutes, caught balls and immediately hit the turf. That tells me they are killing clock.

I would have been mildly annoyed if I were Payton, he took the foot of the gas after the one pick and the Miami coach called a TO with 3 and a half minutes left before a 3rd and long. NO could have put a couple more TDs had they wanted to.
