Good article. I think between all comments made by all involved in the article it is an excellent look at where Jensen is right now and where he could be in the future. Well done

Great article...brings back some good (and painful) memories
I will never forget the moment carpenter missed what turned out to be his last field goal as a griz. Pretty sure the whole stadium was shell shocked. Speechless. We’d gotten so used to him making pretty much everything that I, along with most everyone else had all but marked the game a win as he took the field. Was one of the worst feelings I’ve had in Washington griz. Watching the terriers storm the field in triumph as carpenter dropped to his knees, head hung.

Good read, thanks Colter.

I love the fact that Cole thinks Gresch is a "total stud". There are few Griz players I respect more than Cole Bergquist. I also love that Cole still says "we" when referring to the Griz.

A guy can't help but let his mind wander to 2019 and imagine what this offense might look like....

It reads like Josh Swogger threw the football left-handed. :?

Hauck and offensive coordinator Rob Phenicie brought in Washington State transfer Josh Swogger to start over Bergquist. The 6-foot-5 lefty was anointed the starter before spring ball even began. He threw for 2,685 yards and 17 touchdowns to lead UM to 12 straight wins before a 19-17 loss to UMass in the semifinals of the 2006 FCS playoffs.

Ok, this is embarrassing. That year (2006) was my sophomore year at UM and, admittedly, the most, um, hazy. I remembered Josh Swogger as a lefty...until I just looked at pictures. He is indeed not a southpaw....

Story is amended, thanks for the correction

We were in the North end zone near the goal post. The snap was high on that kick, and it was just enough to throw off Carp's timing. He got to the ball too quick and pulled it left, just like a golfer who hits from the top and quick hooks a drive. Sad ending to a great career.
