less than 4 YPC is unacceptable, particulary in an offense that is predicated on spreading the defense out. Whether our YPC is due to backs not being able to read the defense, O-line not efficiently run blocking, or the lack of a TE and FB to help open things up (I think all are to blame) is open for debate.

Rushing for 3.68 YPC is awful, and will not win many (if any) games come playoff time, particularly against teams that have some semblance of a pulse on defense.

That average is sucked down by guys like Favors, Hill, etc. Our top two guys (Calhoun & Lee) average 4.2 ypc. That number is perfectly acceptable...at least to me.

4.2 is getting better, 4 and a half ypc I feel is the sweet spot. Given that there will/should be some longer rushes to account for the negative plays

Hell, our QB's average 3.1 YPC. :lol: :lol: And that COUNTS sacks!

You want to hear a REALLY impressive statistic? MaKena Simis, in 22 carries, was taken down for a loss exactly ONCE. And averaged 4.8 YPC. :clap: :clap: :clap:
