with two of three jaycee transfers washing out in the wake of the gus chase mistake, i'm wondering if our coaching staff hasn't re-committed itself to recruiting high school players. i'm guessing--and it's only a guess--that marso had some sway with some real talented kids, but that tinks is now back where he's more comfortable, with high school kids.
me, i prefer the high-schoolers, the long-iterm investments, to the more volatile jaycee day trades. either can be money, it's just what you're more comfortable with.
