Jay Cutler a Chicago Bear

I'm not pleased about this. But the Broncos netted a ton of picks.. a pair of first rounders and a third rounder.

I have never seen Denver this polarized on any subject. Until this, the most polarizing person was A.I. over the last years. I like the Broncos, but feel Cutler crossed the lines, management/authority is just that at any level or any job, like it or not. McDaniel was not completely in the right either, but he is coach. As a coach the coach should have more say than the player as long as that coach is there.

I would have loved to hear what a Bill Parcells or Bob Knight would say or do with/to Cutler on the way this was handled.

The saddest thing is Cutler comes out smelling like roses. He grew up a Bear fan, and chances are likely he will get his contract they are looking for. BRAT!

What a whiney piece of work. He pouts like a baby about the fact that they considered trading him. Puts his house up for sale and his parent's house up for sale. Then turns around and says he is surprised they traded him.

I'm not an Elway fan (or a Bronco fan), but it is laughable when he compares himself to Elway.

GO PACK!!!

I'm pulling for Chris Simms as well.

However, I don't blame Cutler a bit. Put yourself in his shoes.. you're a 25 year old quarterback in the NFL.. then you find out your new boss wants to can you in favor of another guy, but he doesn't tell you his intentions, he does it behind your back because your boss has already told you to your face "you're the man here." I'd be pissed off too. Things would have been cool if McDaniels would have just said, "Jay, you're the man." But no, the arrogant POS had to keep making statements such as, "Jay, you're the man, but ...." or "anything can happen, and we'll deal whomever to make the team better..." And from what I've been reading, McDaniels didn't even let Bowlen know he was looking at Cassel. I think this falls squarely on McDaniels.. he couldn't just be cool. But now ESPNs reporting that Scheffler wants out too.. nice first impression on Denver, Josh!
