Just saw this on FB. If true, seems to me that to be fair, they should all be, if they haven't been, figured with the same criteria. Anyone know if there is in fact truth to this statement attributed to O'Day.?

"With all due respect to Jamaal Jones and Marc Mariani, the true record should belong to Matt Wells as his UM record book numbers currently do not count his many playoff games. I believe maybe now is the time to make this right. ‪#‎threeoutstandingreceivers"

That is correct. FCS only started counting playoff stats recently. All of the massive playoff stats for Wells, Dicky, Douglas and others were ignored for purposes of season and career stats. It's a shame that players from the different eras cannot really be compared for that reason.

Matt was always my daughter's favorite Griz. When we went on the field to get her football signed, it was Matt she wanted not DD.

I think she ended up being the same height as little Matt!

:roll: WELL, what I really want is for the records to actually be correct and mean what they purport to be! True and honest RECORDS!! Color me silly, but incorrect records seem somewhat tarnished and meaningless to this old fashioned sports fan.
