Jack Tuttle likely to Montana - per Lucas Semb / SIKE!

The dude started against Penn State this year. He was 9 of 12 for 82 yards and a TD with a 160 rating before he got hurt and was done for the season. Again that was versus Penn State!!!!

Honestly I could give a shit less how many years of eligibility they have or if they're a transfer or high school kid. I just want the best QB that gives us the best chance of winning. Idk why this bothers so many people.
There are more and more schools every year at the highest levels of college football who look to fill their 2-deep at QB with transfers. We all want a 4-year starter, but this isn't the huge problem that people seem to be making it out to be.

Wonder why HS QB’s would ever sign here. You can count the # of games HS QB recruits have played in on two hands in the 5 years Bobby’s been here.

Not trying to throw shade, but I was trying to think, who was the last hs qb to be UM's qb1 for the season? Selle and SS-H are the most recent I could think of, but I'm sure I'm missing a couple.

Quite honestly, there is nothing about Tuttle that gets me super excited. I have no issue with his transfer if the reports are accurate, just doesn't move the needle much.

Only a 4-star qb and big 10 starter. Your comment doesn't move the needle for me.

Why would a guy with 6 starts at Indiana over 3 seasons and a background like this, move the needle of you?

"Tuttle was a four-star prospect by Rivals and 247Sports in the class of 2018. He was ranked the No. 4 pro-style quarterback nationally by Rivals, the No. 5 pro-style quarterback nationally by 247Sports, and the No. 13 player in California by 247Sports. He signed with Utah out of college and also had offers from Alabama, LSU, USC, Arizona, Wisconsin, and others."

I would guess Brady Gustafson.

Brady Gustafson in 2016.

They likely wouldn't, but if you can get quality starters and depth (which TBF we haven't been able to do) in the portal, it likely wouldn't matter, which is why so many schools do it now.

Kris Brown. And Stitt's guy.

I thought he was only talking about QBs that started the season QB1, but I just realized SSH wasn't the opening QB1 in 2012, so in that case, you're correct.

Career 55 percent completion percentage with only 6 touchdowns and 8.6 yards per pass with a long of 35. Also sacked alot which means not very mobile. On paper Kris Brown is better.

Long of 75? Is brown a 4 star recruit on paper. Hal dozen starts in big 10?

"Appeared in six games with starts against No. 10 Michigan State (10/16) and No. 5 Ohio State (10/23) ... completed 45-of-87 for 423 yards with two touchdowns and five interceptions ... rushed 16 times for 14 yards ..."

He averaged 80 passing yds per game with twice as many picks than TD's.... i will assume that is why he does not move the needle...
