I didn't interact with many Jacks fans pre-game, and the bars I went to were loaded with Griz fans with nary a Jacks fan in sight.

Jacks fans in front of me at the game (I was on the SDSU side) said Montana was the ONE team they were worried about. They were hoping that literally ANY other team had come out of that half of the bracket.

With a delayed flight, my wife and I had the opportunity to talk with a group of parents of SDSU player in an airport bar.. All class. They couldn’t stop congratulating Montana, even though they took it to us. Great group, and I’m guessing if any GRIZ fan had consistent problems with SDSU fans , it likely was of their own doing.

Did any Jacks fan grab the arm of your when she was walking to be seated at her dinner table, and then try to get a conversation going with her.

How many Jacks fans started conversations with you by saying that their team had kicked our teams ass? I assume you don't stay in bars very late, so you probably didn't see any of that.

Maybe you ought not to make assumptions when you don't have a clue about the facts.

I don't stay in bars very late. But I would imagine that there were a few less than saintly Griz fans on the prowl at 1am or 2am or whenever the bars close in Texas.

Congrats to the Jacks. Never easy to watch the alma matter lose. Ive had many amazing experiences with different fans and i would put you guys up there with App State. Humble, fun and easy conversations.
Enjoy your Natuonal Title. Very well deserved and it was bitter sweet watching such a talented team yesterday!

Agree completely. SDSU has a quality fan base just like App State. Rightfully basking in the joy of their success but never obnoxious. We visited with some real nice folks and had some great conversations along the way - but still looking to get hooked up with some SD pheasant hunting!

A number of the few I met seemed like jerks. A group of old ones tried to hustle my wife last night as we were being seating. Grabbed her arm as she walked by there table as we were being seated. Tried to claim they knew her from first SD and then from MT. She even had a black Griz shirt on. None of the younger ones i met were the bad ones. SDS seemed to have a good showing. Griz showing was great.

Huh.....maybe they'd figured you out. Had you already told them how smart, rich, pompous, arrogant, connected, dismissive and famous you are?
