Jace Lewis throws all the shade

I’m sure you do. Trust in the current staff has got this current team jack shit the last 3 years.

So trust in one hand shit in the other

Me personally I’m sick of logging into QB club every Monday and hearing Bobby spew the same bullshit out of his mouth and watch the rest of the big sky keep playing Especially when we have every advantage when it comes to facilities and fan base. Gotta pay the piper some time. And I’ve been a big Hauck supporter

This is exactly where I am. When Bobby 2.0 came on board he said he’d learned stuff and was going to have more fun this time around. He participated in forums to demonstrate a new approach to things. I joined QBC because I thought things were trending up as promised. But, like Badlands, I’ve grown weary of the tired “I like this team” to explain losses and no real discussion with boosters who are supposedly part of the inner sanctum due to the extra financial buy-in. If you submit a question online that isn’t a slow pitch 🥎 it gets ignored. My eyes are open and I’m really hoping to see some tangible things happen in the next couple weeks (staff) or I’m afraid it will be rinse and repeat in 2023.

...sounds to me like Olsen had to earn the opportunity to play while the other was given the opportunity
to play...i.e. Bobby broke his own rules when it came to his son...I think this is what players are seeing..
Robby was never taken out of a game to see what other players could do...were they given the opportunity
too..NO...I'm a Hauck supporter but I can see the double standards...maybe his time is up?

For the record, it was Stitt that didn't play Olsen when he could. There were a number of relatively good backers on the team at the time he ws coming up, so yes, I'd say he earned it. He was special teams all conference as a sophmore, and likely could have played defense a lot more than he did. Hauck was very complimentary out of the gate, and played him right away.

Right on queue, the Hauck apologists try to make it about Coach Stitt. Pathetic.

Look at the roster you clueless idiot. Olsen wasn’t playing as an underclassman because older guys like Josh Bus were ahead of him on the depth chart.

Sounds to me like all you did is illustrate the original point: RH was given preferential treatment. As a freshman and sophomore he played ahead of older, more experienced, bigger, stronger, faster players. Coach Hauck’s tough guy, old school “every position is up for grabs every week” mantra turned out to be complete and total bullsh*t.

Unfortunately for the cult of Hauck, Bobby’s arrogance and inauthenticity has worn thin. Combine that with an immature, ineffective, verbally abusive coaching staff and it doesn’t bode well for the future of this program.

And if you disagree, take it up with the players, player families, and people who have inside information into the situation. Not the people who are more a fan of Hauck than they are of the Griz. Or posters on this board who are too brainwashed to know the difference.

I agree. Bobby is back for the second time and has the opportunity to cement his name as the best coach ever at UM. He and some of the coaches on his staff need to start having some fun. Answer questions, make jokes, interact with the public. He’s good, actually great, in one on one’s with boosters, but leaves a lot to be desired with the general public. I hope he sticks around, makes some changes to his staff, that don’t include bringing Robby on. I think it’s best for everyone involved if Robby moves on. Nothing against him, there just is too much baggage attached. Bobby, if you’re reading this, let’s have some fun!

…knew it and called it…
…not a hater..he closed his eyes…
…the only way you pick it is keep your eye on it…

… …

Oh no, parents don't think there kids are getting enough playing time or recognition. I'm sure we are the only team in the country where parents think the coach isn't playing the right players or properly using the talent. Whew

You nailed it.

#6 tried to fake an injury during the Cat/Gris game so he could take a breather. He was tapping his head for a sub and they wouldn’t take him off so he flopped, it was super weird. So I don’t wanna hear his dad talk about him being pulled. The man gets tired.

I do think he’s fair to talk about preferential treatment though.

Regardless it’s still a matter of ethics and blatant nepotism. That kind of thing has a massive impact on the locker room, which is exactly what you are seeing unfold.
I can't speak to what it's doing to the locker room, because the only players liking and retweeting Jace's tweet (at time of posting) are guys that left the program who likely have an axe to grind with Bobby.

But I don't think those two things are remotely similar. There were people saying UM inflated Dante's tackles back when he was playing, too.

But the accusation is changing stats after the fact, which is not the same thing, to me.

Who exactly counts Tackles and who is that person's immediate supervisor?

Smart play. I see it every game in college and NFL. When you’re the best defender on the field and you get gassed you do what you can. Plus, how the hell do you know if he didn’t get doinked?

This thread is not about “parents bemoaning playing time”. It’s about the shitty underbelly of Griz football under Hauck’s staff that we fans don’t dare talk about. Players definitely treated preferentially for reasons other than ability and performance and a culture of verbal abuse that would make a Marine drill sergeant proud. Anyone who knows players personally know there is a big problem. These kids are super proud to be Griz. They want to be Griz and they want to win, but most of them are too mature to endure the constant bullshit without some resentment and apathy developing.

And again, Cat trolls need not concern themselves here. Enjoy your season but don’t think for a moment that trouble is not on your doorstep. Your fine staff, less one, will soon be moving on.

He is a great player and has been a pretty solid kid as far as beiing a spokesman for program etc. My guess is he doesn't appreciate his dad doing that. He has an opportunity to play on Sunday next year and i am sure doesn't want to deal with stuff like this as he prepares for that process.

Justin Ford’s dad is responding to Lewis’s tweet, and several others, with less than nice things to say about Bobby and Robby. It just keeps getting worse.
On the bright side, would we have been on pace for anything other than another 7-4 season next year?
At best. Might be the best time for a major shakeup...

Yeah go ahead and keep sticking your head in the sand. The Bobby apologists on this board astonish me. This why we are a mediocre program. The nepotism shown to Robbie has been an ongoing cancer in the locker room for years and it is festering out of control.

Good for him!! Now lets see if the UofM chooses to save the football program and clean house....all coaches gone, find someone who the game hasn't passed by. Bullying, lack of player respect, negative reinforcement...doesn't seem to work anymore and the ALL ABOUT HAUCK program is suffering!!

His "kid" is going to get a legit shot in the NFL...I don't think you are thinking about the right parents in this case...

It’s not the head coach. Whole accusation of Bobby Hauck being in charge of tackles recorded when we are getting these numbers literally in real time watching the game is ridiculous. Whether or not you think Robby should be playing is a different story entirely.

A bunch of kids who never won shit bashing a hall of fame coach at their school is more than ridiculous.

You can try to minimize the situation all you want, but it’s not a small group of disillusioned parents complaining about playing time.

It's a very large faction of parents representing a very large number of players who are frustrated about blatant nepotism and unprofessional conduct of the coaching staff.

Snarky comments on egriz aren't going to make those issues go away.

Sorry, Ford is not going to be in the NFL.

He has a shot...corners are coveted in the league...speed and special teams. We'll see. Saw he rated between 30 and 40 in the position group...
