J. Tinkle, a McDonald All American

Mslacat

Well-known member
Tinkle has been named to the McDonald high school all American teams. The Article says that Tinkle is the first Montana named to the team. I really could have sworn that Karen Deden was an McD's All American. I know she , like Tinkle, was a top 10 recruit coming out of high school.

too bad she wont stick around for the griz. But hell do i blame her????? HELL NO however i wouldhave went to duke or maryland or somewhere like that. i do like her choice tho.

This is awesome.

Also, I noticed in one of their box scores there was another Tinkle (Elle, I believe?). How old is she? Tall, too? Decent player?

Thanks.

Ellie is a freshman starter, about 5'11" to 6'0", thinner and quicker than Joscelyn. She will have chance to be very good and play at next level but from what I've seen (only a few games) not destiend to be the state's second McD All American. But she is only a freshman.

Deden was a top 5 pick by USA today in 1987, but I don't recall anything about McDonalds.

It sure would have been nice if Jos had wanted to play for Selvig and put Montana in the top twenty-five like South Dakota St. Remember when Old Dominion and Louisiana Tech were women basketball powers. There was'nt anything special about those schools but they got the talent.

McDonald's did not have a women's all-American team until 2002.

she will be good, but she is not Jos. she plays a little different. i think she could play next level and here would be a good choice. 3 years from now lol. but i mean Jos. was a power even as a freshman
