there is no chance this is true. I know for a fact that every single griz fan to ever step foot into Bozeman is immediately ridiculed and belittled. even women and children are not safe. you most definitely got swore at and probably spit on. your wife was mocked for being fat and your kid was definitely pushed down. this is what always happens...

I think its hilarious that somebody would choose to run out of gas and coast into white hall rather than stop in bozeman for gas! haha I hate the cats as much as any other good griz fan, but ive had alot of fun playing softball in bozeman, watching hoops and having some beers.....out side of the cats, bozeman is not that awful...esp for getting gas! nice gas station right off the freeway lol, beats the hell out of walking to white hall when ya run out of gas at the bottom of cardwell hill :thumb:

I would rather pack 5 gallons of gas from Whitehall to the bottom of Cardwell Hill than stop in blowsman for gas!!!

Yes, I hate Bozeman. I hated working there. And no, outside of work I won't spend a dime of my own money in that shithole for food or gas.

I think Bozeman is an awesome town. Hate the Bobcats but Bozeman is a pretty high quality place to live. WAY better fishing, skiing, and outdoor recreation than Missoula. That is without debate

NO WAY. As for fishing you have the Clark Fork running right thru town, The Blackfoot, the Bitterroot also flowing right thru town and Rock Creek 20 miles away. Also where do people in Boz go to steelhead fish?? No comparison there. Not a skiier but Boz may have an edge there but Missoula wins on golf courses. Other outdoor recreation? Whitewater rafting? Missoula. Hunting? Draw. Camping? Draw. You can love on boz all you want but missoula has everything boz has.

The Blackfoot and Bitteroot are not close to better than the Yellowstone and the Madison. The Bighorn, Missouri, and Yellowstone are by far the best rivers in the state for nymphs, dry's and streamers. Blackfoot and Bitterroot are way down the list.

Skiing is a way bigger blowout than fishing. Ski resorts around Missoula suck, but at least they have some. I love Missoula but Bozeman is a better outdoors town.

I still disagree on fishing. I see you failed to mention Rock Creek? And how about lake recreation? Missoula has Georgetown, Como, Seeley and Flathead all within an hour. Where do bozos go to water ski and jet ski?

Sorry, but NOTHING compares to the Mission Mountains and the Bob Marshall Wilderness when it comes to "outdoor recreation". Add to that the Blackfoot, Clark Fork, Swan, Clearwater, Flathead, Bitterroot all within 0-60 minutes away for fishing/rafting/kayaking, etc., Schweitzer, Discovery, Big Mountain all 2 hours or less away with Snow Bowl in the back yard, and Flathead Lake and the chain of lakes in the Swan Valley for boating/skiing....Missoula might be the most perfectly placed town in the country for outdoor enthusiasts...
