Can't imagine making a half million a year ... period. But then we pay our entertainers more than almost anyone else (the people who grow our food, for example?). Sports are, at bottom, just a part of the entertainment industry ... along with rock stars and actors/actresses.

I had seen the rumor/notion that some alumni had gotten together to fund the buy-out. Something has to change over there, and this might be the only way to do it. I suppose we'll find out for sure, sooner or later.

If his deal runs out next June, what they have to fund is the overlap hit from a new coach they want to get on board by the start of the year. The Big Human would probably do it for nothing.

Although I would tend to agree with you about performance, there is no way in hell UI picks him.

Far too many problems within the UI athletic department in the past 5 years plus Kramer was released by ISU, Idaho’s sister-wife program.

I was joking but he was a star player at Idaho.

The BSC is poorer without him. Best Coach interview in BSC history?
