Griz vs central wa kats...what are your prognostications and what will you be watching for?

Well first, start by watching this. And with regards to the game, I will now be watching the RB's closely after the devastating news from earlier this week. Go Griz!
 
Going to be checking out QB and RB (now that MK is a no go). Also want to see how the defense looks.

rumors that he's lost for spring and fall due to a torn acl. more info in the "backup rb" thread
 
1. Who's starting at QB and how well is the offense working together under a new leader?
2. How much has the OL improved and can they create lanes for RBs who aren't quite as shifty as Marcus Knight?
3. Is anyone wearing #37?
4. How long until fall kickoff when I can hopefully get up there to see a game in person?
 
Thats the best Griz promo vid I've seen in some time, good work media dept. I don't remember what year it was, but the last quality promo vid, IMO, was where they shot scenes all over town with businesses closing up shop with Griz game day signs posted in the windows.

Biggest thing I'm watching for is the competitiveness of the second and third string. If I'm the coaches and presumed starters, I play just enough to feel good about it then get off the field. Let the young guns show what they got.
 
Rumors. Misdirection, innuendo. Nobody on this board knows a damn thing. These games are scrimmages. I don’t think fans will see the real starting lineup until fall of 2022. Will be good to see the youngsters get some time in these games. Good competition and reps for the QB’s and LB’s. Nice to see what both lines look like and new personnel in the secondary. Settle down folks. Bobby doesn’t show his cards and this revised season won’t be any different. I am just as interested in what Vegemite Sandwich will do over on Bozangeles. Going to be a much tougher road for him than Bobby. Sounds like he has really inspired the team.

Just don't tell the bolded above to Coach. I believe I heard him say in an interview that as long as they're keeping score, it is a GAME. :ugeek:

I believe we play to win however I think Hauck is going to feature our heavy package through out the game and only throw it about twenty times.....one it keeps the cards close to the vest and two teaches dominance and toughness...just my opinion.

Agreed. I'm guessing these will probably feature a lot of underclassmen - give them a shot at hitting someone else other than their own teammates.
