It's Cool To Be Excited About New Recruits...

Yet, not much has changed since we were embarrassed by MSU and NDSU a couple of months ago. We purged a couple of old fly-fishing coaches via retirement, but the hopes for a new direction for our offense, and a realization that the 3-3-5 offense is for losers, still remains.

Actually we've had quite a bit of changes that the coaches and I believe most all players are now aware of that have many looking forward to what's ahead.

Unsure on the fate of the 3-3-5 but my hope is that it becomes more situational and adaptive ahead.
Brint this is no time to be irrational. No one knows more than Trolleymustgo that the sky is falling. We should all just listen to him

The Hauck post-seasonal blatherings have ended, to be replaced by the predictable euphoria of another stable of new recruits, as hope springs eternal for a turn-around season from Bobby's continued failures to RTD. The past 6th place finish is now a faded memory, with a re-invigorated fan base filled with the anticipation of the coming season.

Yet, not much has changed since we were embarrassed by MSU and NDSU a couple of months ago. We purged a couple of old fly-fishing coaches via retirement, but the hopes for a new direction for our offense, and a realization that the 3-3-5 offense is for losers, still remains. And we lost our three best defensive players, with no apparent replacements for all of their tackles and big plays. We lost the all-time best KO returner, who single-handedly won two games with his exploits. We lost our "Mr. Reliable" possession WR, who led the team in catches.

The 2023 season will still have a head coach unable to make game-time adjustments, and being out-schemed and out-coached each week. We will feast on the parade of chump teams lured to Washington Griz by monetary guarantees, believing that our boys can compete for a national championship, only to have those hopes dashed when we have to play real contenders. We will still feature a stable of capable running backs, but no real running attack due to a poor O-line, coached by an inept O-line coach, and as predictable as the latest mthoopsfan name-dropping post. Our hopes of a new group of position coaches now dashed, we are resigned to another dose of the same-old same-old.

We will remain the new Little Brother in the state, as the Bobcats continue to out-recruit us in-state, and out-coach us during the Brawl.

But, stay excited for next season. It's what Griz fans do.......

I just have to ask. Are you OK? It’s healthy to question and be pessimistic, but your incessant hammering of this trope tells me there is something deeper going on. Please get outside into some fresh air. Go for a hike, snowshoe, or get out on the slopes. Being cooped up inside and hyperfixating on every minute negative is unhealthy. As much as you want eGriz to be an echo chamber, it’s not.

Please take care of yourself and don’t fall down the despair rabbit hole. There is more to life than Hauck’s employment decisions.

I am a little worried too…..for Bobby at this point haha. Dude may have to hire a personal security team in case RMG decides to let his “Ray Finkle, laces out” obsession get the best of him. 😂

So, what are ALL of these changes with coaches? I have read lots of speculation and rumors, but nothing concrete. Why is it a big mystery to identify coaching responsibilities. More of Bobby's ridiculous cryptic personality?

Oh, the secret to remaining the Little Brother status within the state, is rather simple. Keep losing the in-state recruiting battles, keep losing to the Bobcats in football & Basketball, and continuing to finish below the Bobcats in the final Big Sky standings. Bobby Hauck is doing his part to remain the "new" Little brother status, which MSU occupied for 30 years, and now DeCuire has joined-in.

So what is the end game here? Is there one, really?

A new thread every other day to voice your displeasure over Hauck's presence ran its course, ten threads ago. Thinking you're disguising it with "Its Cool" or "What I Want" ain't fooling anyone.

Everyone would like an effective NIL program to be in place. Everyone would love to see more resources available to keep up with the Jones, but as you point out, that's a tall order. I would love to see the indoor practice bubble ready for cold and loud season. I'd bet everyone would agree.

Nobody was happy with how last season turned out. While some are less vocal, if you think anyone was satisfied after all was said and done, you're wrong. And while we're on the topic of nobody, nobody here cares any less for Bobby than I do. No one. Read what I've already written. And yet, even I know that posting a thread with the basic premise of Bobby Sucks, hell in a hand-basket, isn't going to influence anyone's thinking, other than to trade insults with you. Love or hat Hauck, those camps are already well defined. And if someone wants to take an.optimistic view of a new recruit, or coach, good on them. Nobody will know nothing until they lace them up in September. Hauck isn't going anywhere until the last person quits on him. The sooner you acknowledge it or pick a new team to root for, the better you'll feel.

As I'm thinking about it now, I don't honestly think what you're writing here is meant to influence anyone. Right now it's all about "look at me." Talk football if that's what you're here for. But the rest of this shit just mucks up the board for no good reason.

No. Just pointing out that the look-at-me method of posting is a tired and worn out strategy. Kind of like the denying being a bozeman fan.

No, he's saying that it goofs up the board for you to say the exact same thing 10 or more times every day of the week. Jeez, just put it in your avatar, and not keep posting the exact same thing.
