It's called "home court advantage..." Anything that will give you an edge...

which would be great except that your opponents shoot a higher percentage than you do.

just to remind you that this form of "homecourt advantage" only works if you have guys capable of shooting better than your opponents... ;)

No doubt. It didn't provide much "home court advantage" when Carroll College beat you in Pocatello earlier this year.

Well, we played Carroll College in Reed Gym, not Holt. We are 3-1 "under the lights" at Holt, but you are right, our shooting has been lacking wherever we play.

At least the "IDAHO STATE" & "BENGALS" is facing the right way.

I'm guessing you're referring to the Adams Center which has the only baseline graphics I've ever seen facing toward center court instead of away?

Actually, I think you've got it backwards, Tip. Dahlberg's baseline wording "Dahlberg Arena" faces away from center court (e.g. is facing the baseline bleachers). At most facilities, the wording faces in toward the court.

Thanks. My bad. I got my post bass ackwards. The Adams baseline graphics do face outward unlike any other pro or college floor I've ever seen which face inward. Demerits for me and the athletic department.
