ISU vs. UM...

Mike Chavez...straight gangster. I don't think getting arrested for a DUI and being academically ineligible makes you a thug, maybe unintelligent, but not a thug.

I bet Mike is smarter than 90% of the BUNGals though.

I am kidding about all three. Young kids--dumb mistakes.

I just think it is funny that every time I make my way to this forum--someone is talking shit about ISU having thugs.

We all have our problems--but 99.9% of all student athletes are good people.

So what would you call it when your basketball team has to be moved to a motel because of your football team? Is that just young kids making mistakes? It sounds a little more serious to me, but love to hear your side of it.

No explanation--no excuse.

I am confident that it won't happen again--but wouldn't you agree that you could wake up one morning and have a similar situation at Montana as well?

Bengal fans don't capatalize on these types of things as a general rule. Montana State for instance--tough times. As a member of the BSC I hope that things get fixed in Bozeman.

Explain this to me...ISU's HC get railed for trying to kick the shit out of Monte--but nothing is said when Bengal baskeball players are getting drilled by Montana (multiple)fans throwing potatoes.

Just for shits and giggles--and feel free to correct me...but didn't the man behind the Monte get in trouble for something?

...every 20-30 years.

I know you will be pulling for them when they win the BSC title and get a 15 seed.

After all--I sulked with you when the Penguins stole the game from you.

No I actually don't agree that a situation like that could happen in Missoula. One reason is there is hardly a JC transfer on campus. Say what you want, but there is less trouble when the student athletes are in the same system 4-5 years.

The potato story gets better each time on eof you guys post on it, pretty soon we will have had a truckload brought in just for the game.

As for Monte, I assume you are talking about the person who is now Benny the Bull of the Chicago Bulls. He did get in trouble, it was bogus and the charges were dropped. Anyone who read the story could see it was pretty hard to imagine a scenario where a Cop needed to apprehend a mascot at a function he had been to the preceding two days doing the same thing he was now getting in trouble for.

Good luck this weekend, lets hope no potatos fly, and there is just good hard basketball....and a GRIZ win.

Is this some secret site for ISU fans other than the BengalDen?

link to 'news' then link to 'sports.' Interesting articles and blogs.

I can remember the Idaho head coach punching out an unruly Griz student in about 1976-77. The kid deserved it. Hundreds of potatoes raining down on the floor as the hard fought battle lasted all the way to the locker room. Damn, those were the good old days.

Has your nose recovered?

  And so Logan Kinghorn does not start? And so we know who will be the one shooting in the threes off the bench as if Schroeder is not trouble enough.
I expect Strait to have his usual game again after last weeks strange event. Hasquet is still getting better at this and Idaho State should bring about the proper response from Dlouhy.

The rest of the field should be full of surprizes. ???

Cam's gotta keep making progress. We need him to be a major contributor down the stretch. Oh, and who said Cam would be running the point and was the best guard on this team a long long time ago?

I do not know the answer??

I am going to the game now and fully expect to have the zone keep things close. I hope I am surprized and return with nice things to say.

This is a good looking ISU team. Very good defense inside. Forcing us to go to the three. I'll be very surprised if our Griz beat them. They go to the paint on us without much trouble, most of their inside game has been uncontested. Where's the defense?
