Islands of the Bahamas Showcase

And almost three full games into the season and Bobby Moorhead is STILL O-the season from 3-point land.

74-48, just under 8 minutes left. Falls has not scored, and really hasn't been needed to do so. Rorie, Pridgett, and Oguine all having good offensive games. Great contribution from Anderson and Dorsey as well. Manuel hit a long 3 early. Like Falls, the GRIZ have not needed his scoring.

These are the great early season games to have to get the team flow going as well as get the reserves some game time. Good luck tomorrow GRIZ!!!

In the history of following Montana basketball, I can never remember a game that started at 8 a.m. my time!

The best news for me here is Mack Anderson. I hate to burn his redshirt, but at the same time, this is the year of great promise--and the year we critically need another big. If he gets consistent minutes, he'll be a sophomore come tournament time.

Just remember--young bigs are foul prone. That seems to be the case so far with Carter, Kramer and Anderson. It's a learning experience.

Kramer got 2 dunks in his few minutes. He sure creates space well for a young raw big man. When Akoh returns, the GRIZ will have a very solid inside presence with these 3.

The GRIZ started slow and were out of sort the 1st 10 minutes. After that, the offense and defense played great. Other than a rough start, DeCuire has to be pretty pleased with how the team played. Great to see the GRIZ can play many minutes with a lot of pressure defense. By far, the most pressure defense they have played. I think this is how DeCuire wanted to play from the get to, but just didn't have the right players or enough depth.
