Islands of the Bahamas Showcase

Griz double teaming, but Incarnate Word doing good job of passing the ball to get around it and get to the open man for 3 point shot... they are up 27-26
 
Incarnate Word can't miss from 3 it seems. Not sure what their % is since the stats aren't working, but it's got to be pretty high. Hope they cool off a bit.

All tied up 30-30 now. Both teams very active on defense causing a lot of turnovers. Griz ball after another Incarnate Word turnover.
 
33-30 Griz after an Oguine 3. Incarnate word turns it over, Pridgett drives in and gets a layup (he has 10 points now). Griz up 35-30 with about 2:30 to go in the half.
 
Anderson plays pretty well for a true freshman.

Don't see Carter getting a lot of playing time in this situation. Too bad they burned his redshirt year.
 
Oguine drives around a screen and gets a dunk. Griz up 37-32. Incarnate word gets a layup on the other end, 37-34. Oguine with a 3! 40-34 Griz up now with about 1:30 to go in the first half.

42-36 GRIZ at halftime, I think the GRIZ should have 43 though. Oguine and Pridgett each having big games. Oguine with 3 3's and being a handful on the offensive boards. Pridgett scoring from the inside consistently. Falls with a few steals. Officials are letting them play.

2 interesting things to note
1. Mac Anderson is playing. He was the 3rd man off the bench. He scored 2 points, a few rebounds, playing solid defense. He moves so well for a player of his height. He's going to be a good one. Just have to give him time.

2. The GRIZ playing mostly man to man press defense the length of the court, with a lot of traps. This is the most I've seen the GRIZ play this kind of defense. I think that is a sign that Travis is comfortable with his depth. Surprisingly enough, they are extremely efficient with it too. This could be a sign of more to come, especially when Akoh returns to his role.

Incarnate Word is a better team than I thought. They are extremely aggressive on both ends of the courts. Very good at moving the ball, shooting the ball, and playing tough D. The GRIZ should be able to pull away some in the 2nd half, due to more depth.
 
DeCuire T'd up Rorie got knocked down on a 3 attempt and no call. Hopefully, that doesn't come back to haunt the GRIZ.
 
My Pluto feed does not have a Ch. 237, which is where the game supposedly is. I have 234 and then it jumps to 240.

Cunningham has done a good job with this team
 
This is odd. Remember earlier in the game when it was 5-4 Griz? They showed Dorsey had the first bucket for the Griz (a 3 pointer) and Rorie had a 2 pointer later to give the Griz 5 points. Now the play by play shows Dorsey's shot was only a 2 and the score was 4-4.

Anyone who was watching, was Dorsey's first shot actually a 2 or was it a 3?

That 237 channel is only for home games. The Big Sky Pluto feeds host all home games for Big Sky teams but not rode games.
 
49-40 GRIZ, just under 16 minutes left. Anderson with an absolutely smooth reverse lay in. Anderson was the 1st man off the bench in the 2nd half.
