They were outgained by a D2 team at home. And before you go off on how good of a D2 team they are, a different D2 school was able to gain more/score more against them last week than a FCS ranked team that has the same coach for long enough to “have his guys” and coaches on staff to show what Bobby 2.0 is really about. Spin away, but be ready for a lot more spins after they play top tier BSC teams. Coaches picked them 6th and I say that looks pretty accurate right now, and if that is acceptable to you I don’t know what to say.

And Griz won. Games are decided on points not yards. And Griz held Ferris to much less than their TO average.

If you don’t think Ferris is best team played by Griz and better than any Cat wins, then I don’t know what to say, other than you don’t know much about football.

If I was in a Griz fan's shoes, I would want them to recruit and develop talent that can comfortably beat a D2 school at home. What should concern you guys isn't that UM didn't scheme up a better gameplan, but that for large stretches of games at home vs. Butler and Ferris State, the talent on the field looked comparable. That should not ever be at a program like Montana. So I guess the issue isn't really that some fans are undercutting wins, but rather than some fans' standards have fallen so low.

I have to tell you, that’s exactly how I felt at Home Depot today: embarrassed. Wearing a Griz hat was a huge mistake. I had so many people jeering at me that I almost forgot what I needed to buy (pellets for the smoker). Some of the nastier grandmas were ruthless.

They have 7 dudes in the NFL more than any other team in the Big Sky. They haven’t lost on the road in over 4 years. This is a legit football team who would be upper half of Big Sky, no doubt.

He threw for a whopping 105 yards....

I’d rather he threw for 105 yards and win 17-10, than throw for 300 and a 34-31 score or a loss. He’s a sophomore who hasn’t really played since his senior year of high school. I don’t think people are giving Ferris enough credit as a team. They’re not a slouch! This was a tough game. Mr. Vidlak will continue to improve, and I can’t wait til the end of the year, when all of the naysayers are praising him for his play.

I think I need to look up the past 4 years of stats for the griz but the offense is just flat to me. Plenty of players that can make a move, but it seems constipated. I love and root for the Griz but its tough to watch sometimes. I get trying to mimick sdsu and msew with a heavy run game but this team just isn't built like that. Hope they can get a nice flow going vs nau
