Is UND as talented as UM??

To answer your question Lovin - I know Coach Delaney and really like him. He is a great guy, likes to golf, seems to be pretty good recruiter and his teams don't give up. However, I agree with your premise - The Griz defense has better players than does ND. Our 2nd team receivers and 2nd team QB are better than ND's starters. It is our coaching and stubbornness with schemes that are killing us. There are counter plays to a run/pass blitzing team. WE need some screen passes and quick slants - seldom, if ever see anything in the middle of the field. How many times are we going to run for no yardage on 1st down, 2nd down, and then pass in 3rd and long? When the D is never fooled, it makes the Offense difficult.

Before most of us die you can rest assured we will have a brand new head coach! I have spoken and you have my word on that.

Also you must know Engstrom is offering sustainably sourced coaches for women and men.....

Or were the Griz out coached??

Pretty simple question... Also, for PR's sake, no I didn't play the game...

And yes, a win is a win...

What a dumb thread. Afraid to use your regular name? Troll alert. You may not have played the game, but at least you know how to be an internet troll.

Simple question Jack, in your opinion is UND as talented as UM?? Cause personnally I don't see a Wags, Van, or even SSH on that team...

You played the game and you're a lawyer. Answer the question??

UM is way more talented than UND. Wags will be drafted. Scouts are also looking at Van. 9 NFL scouts at practice this week, and about the same in prior weeks. Any scouts coming to Bozeman these day? Lovin, looks like you're a Cat fan without the balls to post under your regular name. Why no balls?

Hard to say with so many Grizzlies sidelined this week. I am impressed with their new coaching staff though. NoDak looks like a legit up and comer.

I'd agree with that, their defense is good. Offense isn't so much. Their true frosh Wr could turn into a playmaker.
As a caveat to that...UND had the Griz Defense on their heels and the way things were going it was a terrible play by their center that sailed over the head of the QB ending a near perfect drive...had that not happened I believe UM would be nursing a loss today..

Hmmm, I'd take that bet, if only.............

And had we not missed a chip shot FG and an XP we wouldn't have been worried at the end of the game. See how that works?

There is no question Montana has more talent than UND. It is also very evident that until the coaches can game plan and make on the field adjustments that actually work it will take all the talent and individual playmakers to win games. It's funny how most people can see what plays we run. Hint......we are not a power running football team! Hopefully a week off will help this team.

NO, because UND did it to themselves. They also put the heat on the Griz to cause those things...UND's center did them in...

I see. So OUR mistakes are as a result of THIER pressure, but THEIR mistakes are just simply unforced errors.

Seriously, you can NOT make this shit up.

Hmmmm

Time heals all wounds....................but I still did not like it.

Talent? We have damn good talent from top to bottom!

Don't know about the talent question, although it appears certain that as of now,UND is not playoff material, and neither is our offense.

A lot of football to be played, don't expect much of a change in the offense, the staff can't make half time adjustments, not much hope for an offense to improve either.

With the beating JJ has taken already this year, you have to wonder where his head will be for future games, this offense is not a design for what he knows how to do..

Watching the Cats and their JJ like qb DP would love to see JJ in that offense. JJ has run for his life the last 2 years in this clunker of a ground chuck, retro mess scheme. Criminal all the hits he takes before and after plays usually fall apart. DK put in a position to run ergo has inerta and more control of his hits and not left to be a victim of a mugging not of his chosing on almost every play. JJ is becoming damaged goods both mentally and physically under this coaching staff. Blame the O line if you must but think back to last year with that veteran O line and the results were a bit better but still Jordy running for his life almost every play and hung out to dry. The young man is a warrior but would imagine the tragedy/comedy of this cluster F is getting old and more painful each snap.

yup...the bad center exchange that sent the ball flying over the UND QB's head to the 43 yard line as they were threatening to score was entirely on the UND team. UM was just defending the goal....I guess you see what you want to see. Personally, UM has better players, that is fairly obvious...And, our center has never screwed up like that in years...it was a team unused to pressure and surprised by the ease of their moving toward the goal line..it changed the game...time to move on...

How does a bad snap by THEIR center differ from a bad snap by OUR center? How can one NOT be caused by pressure and the other BE caused by pressure?
