I made a little correction for you. It really turns out to be a large correction because you were 1,000 fans off for UM. With the correction, UM leads the conference in attendance.
Fair enough, though you might want to let the Big Sky conf. know. I didn't run the numbers myself, copied them straight out of the weekly BSC BBall release: http://www.bigskyconf.com/articles/artfiles/88800_12-31-07Release.pdf

Actually, the BSC BBall release had it right, and you just plain had it wrong. the figure you put down for UM was for attendance in AWAY GAMES for UM.
Umm, okay I guess that link I provided opens a different pdf for you than it does for me cause it still says exactly the same thing as I copy and pasted above (see upper right corner of page 7). I'm not saying your wrong, you are absolutely right just letting you know the error is in the BBall release from the BSC. As to the comment about trusting Fullerton #'s, how right you are!

Nope, the same PDF. There are home attendance figures in two places in the PDF. page 7 (which is wrong, and which will make anyone trusting it wrong), and page 17 (which is correct and matches what is on www.montanagrizzlies.com for UM).

Anyway, I notice mistakes in stats for games every once in awhile. A Lady Griz player was short changed 3 minutes of playing time this past weekend against Mississippi, and another player was credited for those minutes. But, no big deal. Not as bad as a player getting credit for a foul that somebody else committed.

You would think a cat of all people would know better than to trust Fullerton's numbers. :thumb:

Fullerton's a freakin moron! How do Montanans feel about him being from MT?

On WSU's part, we haven't had as many home games as say MSU. As for Sac...they are lucky to have 5 fans at a game this year! They've had 4 home games so far and might not see a win for a while. As for PSU they are having some arena issues. They had to move to another venue from what I've heard.

WSU should have some decent attendance when school is back in but even still it really is pathetic to average 3,000+ average in an arena that holds 12,000!!!

I didn't mean to dis MSU about attendance, just I assumed UM gets bigger crowds for big games such as hosting...

He was OK until he went to msu, then he never seemed to do much of anything right, and hasn't changed a bit since becoming the commish. I wonder if msu would take him back over Fields.

how did this moron becomethe commissioner and does anyone like him? i've never heard anything good about the 'tard.

also i heard he still lives in MT, is that true? I find this odd since the BS HQ is in Ogden.

i'm pretty sure you cant make predictions off these numbers anyway, because a lot of them are crappy naia and DII teams. Seriously hardly anyone comes to see us play MSU-northern or teams like that.

And so here are past years, which can be the only true indicators since these early game numbers are skewed based on how many crappy teams you play at home.

2006
UM 4,977
MSU 3,596

2007
UM 4,041
MSU 3,024
