I'm sitting here in the stadium and if I'm not mistaken Gerald Kemp is out here running route and suited up? Was he reinstated? Sorry if I missed this in previous posts. Is he back??

I wonder what position he will be playing?

Please be in the defensive backfield. *crosses fingers*

From the comment "out here running routes" I would assume receiver

Glad to see #17 back out there, had a real nice catch and two good returns. A bad fumble though, gotta protect that ball better.

Wasn’t Kemp suspend for not having enough school credits due to the new NCAA rule?

According to the Missoulian, not even the university knows why the NCAA suspended him. I seriously doubt that is the case though.

EDIT: I misread the paper. Neither UM or the NCAA has said why he has been suspended. I am sure that UM knows why.

He wasn't suspended. He was part of the investigation (starting with the legal representation stuff), and hadn't been cleared. As a result, UM did not want use a player that might later be declared ineligible (and thus have to forfeit games). He couldn't get the NCAA to say he was clear and okay to play, apparently until Friday.
The NCAA let this linger way too long. The University didn't seem help him enough.

That must be a good thing. It sounds like the NCAA investigation is winding down and kemp must not have been implicated in anything. :D
