The analysis of JJ's pass is not a rip on him. God knows where we'd be without him. It originally came up in this thread as a discussion point on his possible injury situation.

And it turned into a "what a terrible throw" fest.

The interception wasn't late or short. It should have been throw a few more feet to the right and ahead of the receiver. It was too close to the receiver, and the defender caught up to it.

That is the definition of short counselor.....I agree that it was not late.

Well if it was thrown a fraction of a second earlier to the same spot it wouldn't have been short, since the receiver wouldn't have been as far down field, so it was late/short

The receiver was running a post, and was coming across the field a bit. There was no defender in the direction he was running, i.e. no safety help. The ball could have been thrown more to the right, or deeper, but throwing more to the right would have allowed the receiver to adjust to it and stay separated from the defender. It wasn't thrown late in the least; it could have been thrown later. It just wasn't a perfect throw.

You have not real concept of time and space and how they interrelate do you?

He looked very tentative to me yesterday, I wonder if he was protecting an injury.

PR gave him a shoulder rub, so he's fine.
