Is Bobby the reason we can’t sellout WA Griz?

Step 1. Be an elite program again. (on our way)
Step 2. Shake up the marketing department, get some new blood in there.
Step 3. Crop and edit this bloated ass conference.
Step 4. Grow some beer gardens.
Step 5. Quit playing Bon Jovi on gameday.

Wondering what opinions are on why we can’t sellout WA griz anymore. I believe Bobby is part of it, I know most people on here think he is god but the reality is many fans despise him for a multitude of reasons. If not Bobby then what else would it be?

Well I see you are keeping with your 1 troll thread a week quota.

Bobby is not the reason attendance is down. I think it is several reasons, high school playoffs, travel, and I think price all factor in it.

Great. Another Clemson troll.

It's the same show every Saturday. Same music every timeout, same skits, same ol' same ol'
Sell beer in the stadium and people might actually be there for the second half.
TV is pretty damn good now.

Very dumb - ignorant - topic. Attendance was up about 7% in Bobby's first year from Stitt's last year.

this is the worst/stupidest post of the year, hands down and not even close!

I disagree. It's a top three in stupidity, but there have been stupider posts, Sneed is out for the year and We're done for because Cam is our quarterback. This idiotic post does rival them though.

I have missed ONE home game since 2003 and that was because of the birth of my Grandson.
Some of the people on here miss games all the time. What are some of the reasons you don't attend every game?

I can only afford two season tickets, had them for nearly 20 years. The tix get divided up between myself, my wife and my two boys. Its a lottery system the day the magical envelope arrives, who gets which game, who gets homecoming, who gets cat Griz. Regardless if I'm there or not, someone in my fam is sitting in those seats every game.

Notre Dame sellout streak expected to end this Saturday...

Is Bobby the reason Notre Dame streak is ending?

Since price seems to be an issue, just go to Missoula, walk around the footbridge about 60-90 minutes before kickoff and you can get tickets for much cheaper since we are not selling out. That way tickets get used and more fans are in the stands.

Losing the GSA tax deduction is a huge reason for a lot of folks not renew their season tickets. If UM still wants to charge a GSA fee for each seat, they need to do it in a different manner so it can be used as deduction.

Sporting Event Tickets are considered entertainment. The late 2017 tax changes eliminated the deductibility of entertainment expense for tax purposes. There is literally nothing the GSA can do to make these things deductible again unless tax law changes.

Thanks for doing these stats. I wonder if some fans found the UM home games to be less than exciting this year. As it turned out, Monmouth was a better game than anyone realized. While I thought EWU was a big game, they weren't up to their preseason expectations and the expected weather report looked grim. Idaho was not on top of things, but I'm still surprised by that low attendance. Weber will be up. Obviously, no Cat game this year.
