Is Ash moving on?

There are whispers of Coach Ash possibly moving on from MSU. I guess Miami-Ohio is looking at an FCS coach in the Pacific SW. It's all just speculation at this point. I was wondering if anyone has heard anything.

What's kinda funny in all of it is the fact that the Cat fans I know wanted him gone and called for his head after that 3-loss skid....now they are a bit worried they may get their wish. Careful fellas, the grass isn't always greener on the other side.

The Miami board is talking about him and Baldwin and are speculating it may be one of them....key words speculating. From their board:

FWIW, Baldwin makes around $150K after incentives and Ash makes roughly $200K after incentives.

Ash has some knowledge of the midwest. I assume he has recruited further East. Does Baldwin have any ties back that far?

If someone takes ash over Baldwin they are NUTS. UM has survived and excelled with coach after coach. It would be interesting to see if ewu could as well. I think they can but Baldwin and crew do great job at recruiting

We're all moving on eventually. Did you hear that, you young whippersnappers? Immortality has been band.
I'd be surprised if any FBS institution is looking for a 62 year old FCS HC that has achieved so little at this level. Of course, a 0-12 program can't be real choosy unless they have a lot of money. Baldwin, on the other hand, would be a fool to take that job. He is in line for much more.

There is ZERO CHANCE UW is looking at Baldwin, get real

Ash makes $200K after incentives? So his take home pay should be about $14.63, unless he is paid for pre-season ranking and making sure the turf at Bobcat stadium doesn't get chewed up by cleats in December.

Not hard to recruit with virtually NO academic standards to worry about. ;)
