Interpret This.....

Most fans aren't in position to get to know the players. Fans in that position either have close connections or like buying that kind of position.

Either way, it doesn't make any of us more right or wrong. I'm happy we have a fan base that truly cares overall. Would you rather we have a less passionate fan base that just will shut up?

Like it or not, your opinions aren't more valid than anyone else's. Granted, I often agree with you. Just wish, sometimes you wouldn't belittle others here.

Both our lines got jobbed by Davis. Both looked really.
Our backs are mostly shifty runners. I for one would love to have another Chase Reynolds type back. A Larison type of back. Ground and pound.
At this point of the season I think we should stick with Fife and ditch the two QB rotations. Fife looked solid in all the games he played in while Ah Yat was injured… At Yat may be the future. But let’s finish out this season with Fife.
I’m conserved about the PSU game and the sCats. If we drop both of those games I don’t have high hopes of playoffs. Even if we make the playoffs we could be one and done.

Couldn't agree more. I don't understand a lot of the coaching decisions as of late. It also seems we did not recruit to build a defense at all in the off season. We need a bigger D-Line to get off the blocks and make pressure. It continues to show that Ronnie Bradford was the biggest loss after last season. If we had a shred of last years defense and score on two more of those possessions I think we are up 21-10 at the half. If last years defense was still here I don't think Davis scores more than 17 and we should score 35.
Bradford was a big loss. So was Gub.

I don't agree. Our d-line did fairly well. Davis got 130 on the ground. Averaged only 3.4 per carry. No. 3 was 25-97, a .40 average per carry.

Does anyone agree that our backs are mostly "shifty backs"? Gillman has some moves, but he isn't shifty. Ostmo isn't shifty.

The only shifty one is Rocker.

The d-line is bigger than last season. And more healthy players.

From official rosters this year and last:

Gubner was 284, Hayden is 285.

Lehrman is 246, Edwards was 235

Ramos is up 20

Kashmitter is up 8.

Nuce is up 12

Mattai up 1

Harris is up 3 pounds

Detrick down 10

Yes, last year's defense was better at this point.

Just in case anyone cares about the actual facts.

They did play hero ball...only because we were getting beat in the trenches and had no other option. I don't really hold it against either, we needed big plays so they were going for it.

Defense isnt getting lined up. Substitution errors out of timeouts.

Special teams seems to have lost its spark.

Davis straight up beat us at the point of attack. They had superior athleticism as well.

It's not looking too hot right now
They were trying to play hero right out the gate. 4th quarter, sure. But, Ah Yat forced every pass he made(at least tried to) Fife did good his first couple series, after that went to hero mode. Play calling on offense was atrocious anyways though.

That's fair, to me I just didn't get a sense that we could hang with their execution or physicality, and the only chance we had was to make big plays, but they were slinging it for sure.

I felt like the Griz could have took over most of the game. Everything fell off in the 4th. I believe better QB play would have won the game.
