Interim Head Coach is..........

What about Rosenbach??? I know he was probably let go today, but if I remember correctly, he applied and was a finalist for the HC when Pflu was hired. I dont think he affected the UM much in the 3 weeks he was here as our OC.

Just a thought.

My impression in all I've read is that the assistant coaches will be retained.....?

Makes perfect sense to me. When I run into problems in my life I turn to Beer in the interim as well.

The Board of Regents could ask Rob Ash to come over and clean up Alpha's Pflugrad mess. I'd support that.
After hearing Coach Ash's powerful speech on leadership at a recent Mayors conference, and how it effects who they recruit and the attitudes taken on the field and in the lockerroom. I'd already made that suggestion to several Cat backers here... I want YOUR coach!

How about Bruce Read he has his dad's reputation and he has been coaching for a looong time?
Just asking i know nothing about him.

Interesting..........I wonder how the new coach will feel about having his assistants chosen for them.......Beers or Rosenbach wouldn't be bothered too much (i am guessing), but what if they hire an outside source?

Again, my understanding is they're bringing in an INTERIM HC....to get us through the year, in all likelihood. Then readdress it at the end of the 2012 season.

I beleived ya too.
But seriously alpha I would like to hear your take on this whole debacle. I know you probably won't share your info on egriz. It is too bad I don't live close enough to buy you a beer and hear what you know.

Don Read is 78.

I realize this. Yet I think Don Read may be the best choice to serve as the "INTERIM" head coach.

He is respected inside and outside the program. I believe him stepping in for the year would provide a needed sense of relief and stability after this on going cluster f.

He would be 78 going in... feeling like 98 going out.

I would bet a lot of money that most of the kids on the team have very little idea who Don Read is. They would have been about 2 when he retired.
