That's good that you haven't talked to people who say that. I have, unfortunately. And I bet it wouldn't take me more than 5 minutes to find at least 5 people on bcn who say it.

Fan Message boards/Twitter (X)/ Facebook sure. But those same places you can find people saying "Are the griz just as good as UW.. We beat them 2 years ago". All comments on social media sites should be taken with every grain of salt.. I am also not saying that there aren't some Cats fans that haven't said that, but I haven't heard any with my ears.

Example... Read lots of comments on social media during the FCS Championship game saying "If we score on that TD, and don't fumble twice in the 2nd half, griz are right in this game"... Did I take any of them seriously? No, because they were saying it on message boards and social media. It's like saying "If the Cats didn't let the griz score at all, and the Cats did score, we would have won the Brawl"... Well of course you would have.. But they didn't, and so the griz did...

If UM doesn't fumble on the opening drive of the 2d half and scores a TD then, the whole game and momentum would have been different. If UM scores the early TD when we were held out of the end zone, and also a TD to start the second half, it would have been a completely different game. By the 4th Q, the O was falling apart. With 1 or both of those TD's and thus a closer game, it would have been a different game. And I don't think the O would have fallen apart.

At halftime, the coaches and team expected to win the game.

Now, I am going to pretend to be like way too many of the Bobcat fans. "The Griz were a better team than SDSU. Just had a bad game at the wrong time. UM got as many first downs as SDSU. Got as many 3d down conversions. Had the same TOP. Punted the same number of times. (Speaking of punting, the SDSU punter got all of his punts inside the 20.) Had the same number of penalties. Were only down 4 at halftime. The Griz easily beat the Jacks in dropped easy passes."

We stacked up. I don’t think the gap is what people are thinking and once this Covid super senior group is done the playing field will be evened yet again.

I agree. They had better composure but physically you guys stacked up. I thought the Cats did too when they played them in the second game of the season. I know there have been Cat fans making comparisons and talking smack about different games both teams played and there were Griz fans that did the same after the Cats went a couple of years ago. It is all a bunch of poop. You guys had a fantastic turnaround season, beat the Cats and went to the chipper. That is what counts. The Griz were the better team this year. Be proud and enjoy the off season

of those stats... the Cats are 100% win ratio.... Griz are at 25%......

So, your argument is that the team that beats the rival, then has won two championships and finished second six times is somehow worse than a team who has won the championship once? ... I'm not sure how you would argue that?

There is only one thing that we cannot argue... Big game Bobby is O-4 in those games...

Incorrect. Another thing we cannot argue is that the Bobcats have mustered but ONE Brawl win AND NC appearance in the last 40 years, and that was 40 years ago.

And one UM coach has taken a team to the national championship twice as many times as the bubs have gone in their entire HISTORY. Think about that. Remarkable. One coach at UM is twice as successful as every single coach who's ever plugged their nose near the shitpond. Just staggering when you think of that level of dominance of one program over another.

Where have you been the last few months? And why did you only crawl back out after the Griz lose? It’s okay, I know the answer: you’re an insecure troll who was in denial after the dumpster fire fashion that the cats ended their season in and now you desperately seek validation in any way possible on a rival’s message board.

And Big Game Vigen is 0-1. Your point?

BH has had some success... but he will forever be the Big Sky version of Crash Davis of the Bull Durham fame... If you recall, Crash hit the most dingers in minor league history, a stat that he was embarrassed about because it was the result of his inability to make it to the big league... BH is in the same mold... good enough to be there but not good enough to get over that hump!

Also, without using your google skills, who was the Coach of the Bills when they went 0-4 in the last game of the year?..... I will save you the effort... Marv Levy was coach of the Bills and concluded his head coaching career with 11 playoff victories and four Super Bowl appearances, both of which are the most of head coaches to not win an NFL championship... Since that time, the Bills have always been looked at as losers... Kind of like BH is now!!

Too early to tell with such a young coaching staff... but comparing the same 3 years (2021 to present) both coaching staffs have a 5-3 post season record... Same record over 3 years, but one coach has been hitting minor league dingers for much, much longer... (that hump thing)

bub coaches have been doing it for 130 years!!!!!! How is that too early to tell?! And Bobby kicks all of their asses COMBINED!!!!!

Dude, just admit what should be obvious even to a bub grad: Hauck is wildly more successful in 12 years than the bubs have been in 130. It's simply staggering in its level of complete domination. And evidently he's dominating you and your bub mates' minds as well.

Does 1 conference championship in 13 years define "Complete Domination" for your program? Does 2 appearances in Championship games (both lost) in 13 years define "complete domination?"... after a 13 year dry spell, you sure dusted off "complete domination" rather quickly!!

This coming from the fanbase that absolutely ASSURED us that there was a UUUUUUUGGGEEEEE gap between SDSU & MSU and the REST of the FCS and that we were NEVER going to close that gap.

Huh. Looks like it's been slammed shut, loser.

I don't know who you are referring to but facts are facts... the griz got their ass handed to them on a neutral field by SDSU... the Cats lost to the same team on the last play of the game in Brookings... you are entitled to your own opinion, but facts are facts!!

Yes, Nostradumbass, because playing a team in game 2 is EXACTLY the same as playing a team in game 15. (Oh, what's "game 15"? Thats that game you've experienced once in your LIFE.)
