Interesting Stat of the Day (turnovers)

Did you know that since the 2010-2011 we are 7-9 on the road. In those road games we have committed 41 turnovers and have 36 take aways. Only 1 game did both teams not have any turnovers, which was a Griz win at NAU. However in all those games everytime the Griz turned the ball over more than their opponent they lost the game, and consequently everytime they had more takeaways then their opponent they won the game, except one game......
Last year's game against UND. The Griz had 3 take aways to only 1 turnover (rare exception).
So the old cliche will hold true especially on the road win the turnover battle and the Griz will win the game. :thumb:

There's a strong correlation between turnover difference and overall record. Look at the Hauck era.

Unless you give up 660 yards passing. Then you go with the old cliche of force more turnovers and hold the other team to under 600 yards passing and you'll win the game! :thumb: :lol:
