Interesting Observation

I didn't see that, but you usually don't see a lot in timeouts - one thing I have always wondered about is during timeouts Tinkle spend 1/2 of it with his coaches, then goes back to the players, so he only uses less than 1/2 of the timeout to teach/make his point with the players.

It might just be after a 15 - 30 seconds of rest the without the coach talking got them players are focused on getting ready to get back out on the court, and it appears they are not listening.

i commented on that on bobcatnation. that is exactly what happened. hasquet and martin weren't even in the huddle, and martin wasn't even facing the huddle! seems like tinks is having a hard time getting anything out of these guys, and unfortunately, that is ultimately his fault. as for the coaches meeting before addressing the players, you will see this done with almost all college programs. coaches use the first half of full time-outs to strategize, and the other half to show the players what they want. considering that all coaches ignore the ref when he says it's time to play, and they sneak an extra 20 seconds anyway, it's no big deal. rarely will you see a coach do this on 20 second timeouts.

todays game was another example of undisciplined play. I'll bet we had more turnovers than assists and 2-3 times as many as the opponent and still stayed in the game because of superior athletes.

Still scratching my head why with 7 seconds left and the ball out of bounds you have martin with the ball.

I dont think they're ging to make the BSC tourney.

I seriously doubt you ever played for the Griz like you claim. Year and position?

I never claimed to have played for the grizzlies.

OK, I thought you posted that early on. My mistake.

played with everyone on at the annex and tried to walk every year but never made it. Closest I got was the year Nate Sill walked on. Even then probably wasn't close.

I didn't even have the correct sport, I thought you had said you were a former Griz FB player. Nate Sil, blast from the past.
