For those closer to the program, how would Montana compare to these schools? Obviously smaller numbers but structurally how do we differ?

I don't know what UM's debt service is in total, but I don't think it's at a level where the athletic department is greatly concerned about it. I know they are being creative in raising money through various means to make sure they have the money needed to stay on schedule with their debt payments.
I know for certain they have a 15-year bond on the $5 million the athletic department owes on the Champions center. That comes out to a little more than $376,000 a year.

I see that Minnesota is 9th on the debt list and owed $200 million as of 2014. New big facility coming. Probably owe more now.

Nice job the AD to fire the most successful coach in over a decade, piss off a bunch of people, cause a bunch of bad press, hurt recruiting, perhaps cause some players to transfer, and presumably make it harder to increase attendance and attract bigger/more donations.

I see that former coach Kill says he will never set foot in the football stadium again, out of loyalty to his former asst who just got fired.

Minn. ought to fire the AD and bring back the coach.

Is there another new facility coming other than the new football stadium they just opened a couple of years ago?

Sounds like they already got their coach. Fleck out of Western Michigan.

Yes. See links. The second article says that the initial phase is supposed to be done in summer 2017. $150 million for that phase. More for the overall project.
