So does anyone know definitively whether or not JJ is playing?

In the same video, JJ says "we" get to run through the tunnel at a home game in about 3 days, and everyone is very excited. Hopefully he means he will be suited up, running with them.

I noticed that too and took it to mean he might play. Let's hope so.

Hrmmmm....Hope he gets healed up soon. It's a bad news/good news sort of thing. The good news is it's this week. Wish him the best and a speedy recovery.

I hope he can play. This offense needs more time to work together and build chemistry. I realize JJ is a veteran, but everyone on offense needs to be there. Playing a DII team is a perfect time to try and build some chemistry. Assuming there is some injury, I first hope he can fully recover. Second hope is that he can make it out there for at least part of this game.

So to recap today's news, JJ was hurt/not hurt in the Wyoming game. He did/didn't practice with the team this week and he will definitely play/not play in the Central Washington game.

Good stuff guys!!

Couldn't agree more, but on the other hand, this is also the game that we can do without his services the most, so let him sit if need be. Would be nice to see him play and light up the stat sheet though. It could do wonders in building offensive chemistry.

Bummer if JJ is out for this game. So would SSH get the start or BG? Personally I would like to see an BG or one of the other young guys get allot of play time and some reps before this next year when JJ and SSH are gone.

Shay will start.

I have not been critical of Mick for anything, other than this. He is fixated on Shay for some reason, and I just don't get that.

I rewatched the game last night. There's a few other things you should be critical of Mick of before you start focusing on who he's got on the field. :| :|

Montana football coach Mick Delaney confirmed Friday morning that senior quarterback Jordan Johnson will not play in Saturday's home game against Central Washington.

Johnson suffered a concussion in Saturday's game at Wyoming. He will be replaced by senior Shay Smithwick-Hann.

"Jordan is going to be fine," Delaney told the Missoulian. "It's just a precaution you have to make sure you do the right thing when that happens."

S-H knows the offense as well as the coaches. He makes very few mistakes. He's a good caretaker and distributor. Probably won't be called on to make big plays, but is capable of making some. He's no JJ, but he throws a fairly good ball. I assume the rest of the offense has confidence in him. While I wish we had JJ, and I love to watch him play, I'm glad S-H is getting a chance to start with this being his senior year. CW is much better than OPS, but certainly no Wyo. SH could probably start at Wyo this year.
