Injuries.....

Not that any of you sons of bitches care but I smacked the shit out of my toe on the leg of my coffee table yesterday, during the game, while rushing back to the sofa from a beer retrieval run from my kitchen. I'm probably 50-50 to see action next Saturday but I'm working through the pain. I even woke up early today and decided it was time to clean house. That's what makes me a good fan.

No whining about your big toe; it's only Monday, get out to a medical supply house and rent one of those self-propelled scooters that rests the injured leg while you push with the other. By Saturday you should be hell on wheels, steering deftly with one hand while carrying a tray of beers with the other.

Rub some dirt on it. You're a bad mother[shut yo mouth].

Haynes does not appear in the participation report.

Haynes Sucks, who cares

I believe I asked the original question because I would really like to know....he was very highly touted.....he has not been utilized enough because of injury to even know if he would be a help to the griz....he sucks is harsh and based on what? maybe I missed something....

Haynes would be a fantastic compliment to Jamal and Ellis IMO. Can you imagine going 5 wide with Henderson, Jones, Haynes, Van, and Walcott? Man it'd be nice to have all of them healthy!

J Whit looked like he dislocated his shoulder.

Hope not! I was thinking concussion or something, ugh

He didn't appear to be injured down on the field long after the game, when he was talking to kids, girls, adults and generally seeming to be having a good time.

Was thinking he got a stinger. The RB gave him a good blast the first time he was down.

I had a chance to visit with Haynes prior to the Homecoming game and he said he expected to be back this coming week! With Nacarato's injury this week, we may need him to be ready...
Go Griz!

Is this the route you took? If not, maybe you should!

BTW, don't say a word about injuries around the Bizon fans. They think they invented the saying "Next man up."

I keyed in on Haynes last year as I was impressed with his blocking as a wide receiver down field. I didn't know who he was at first, but he reminded me of the great passing teams of the past that sprung our boys for extra yards. He kinda disappeared. I for one would love to see him back.

Sounds like Nyguen is on the shelf for the season...

The good news is that reserve running backs John Nguyen and Lorenzo Logwood should be available at UND, according to Delaney. Both suffered ankle injuries last weekend and Nguyen’s availability is crucial since he returns punts and kickoffs.

High on Montana’s priority list right now is getting healthy. The Griz played without wideout Ellis Henderson (stomach), nose tackle Tonga Takai (shoulder) and left tackle Jackson Thiebes (ankle) in last Saturday’s blowout win over Northern Colorado. Thiebes was the only one of the three to dress.

Now there’s more regulars on the mend.

“We’re day-to-day starting today with (strong safety) Justin Whitted,” Delaney said. “He has a shoulder problem. Mike Ralston (TE) has a knee. Those are probably two of the most concerning things that may be guys that can’t go this weekend.

“We lost (WR) Chase Naccarato for the season. He’s going to have (ankle) surgery. He only played about four or five plays last week.”

The Griz will also be without starting punter Stephen Shaw again this week. Chris Lider was solid as his replacement on Saturday, averaging 37.8 yards per attempt.

Hannah, your Family Circus cartoon includes a link to "10 Incredibly Simple Tricks to Make Him Go Wild in Bed".

Subtle much? Seriously, you don't need to be coy. Perhaps when Ursa has fully healed from his toe injury, you can try 6 or 7 of those on him (Frankly, between you and me, I don't think he has the staying power for the full ten).
